  • • PLBT obtained the Notification Approval fromDOE for constructing and operating the LeachateTreatment Plant on 29 October 2013 with severalconditions.

    • Currently still in T & C Process and will comply allthe DOE Regulation and Standard for effluentdischarge, when the system is fully operate.

    • PLBT will officially notify the DOE and otherrelevant agencies when the LTP is fully operationwith capacity 200m3/day.

    • * For Ammoniacal Nitrogen (AN) , we are trying to study and upgrade the process to achieved Standard• For Heavy metal and other parameter, all results analysis comply with the DOE Standard.

  • • Daily in-situ testing was carry out every hour to make sure the treatmentprocess in a good condition

    • Daily sampling and testing for important parameter as COD, AmmoniacalNitrogen and Colour at Internal Lab (PLBT)

    • Refer to the agreement, LTP must treat leachate200m3/day.

    • The consultant still working to maximize thecapacity of the treatment process.

    • The existing plant will be modify to fulfill theagreement.

    • Planning of the modification will start on May2015 and will be fully operated with maximumcapacity 200m3/day end of this year.

  • • From result analysis up to Feb. 2015(Accreditation Lab), there are no pollution fromlandfill to other external water source at JPScanal, river and sea.

    • Our reference to DOE also, there are no directpollution to river or sea from landfill.

    • For water quality at Wetland, Leachate Ditch andLeachate Pond, its still under landfill area and willbe treated before discharge to external watersources.
