COLLEGE LEVEL COURSES − The Briarcliff High School college level courses are

accredited courses through SUNY WCC (Advanced College Experience), SUNY Albany (University in the High School), and Syracuse University (SUPA).

− The classes are taught at the high school by a Briarcliff High School teacher who has been approved by the University. The teacher is an adjunct professor for the college.

− Families can choose to pay for the college credit (at a very reasonable, reduced rate!) If the credits are purchased, the student will receive a transcript from the University upon completion of the course. This transcript may be sent to the college the student plans to attend and the course may be used to excel the student to a higher level class or it may supplement a course offered at the college/university.

− Students can take the course even if they do not plan to pay for the credit. The course will still have a weight of 1.10, regardless of whether or not the student pays the University.
