The weinor Aruba is the ideal shading solution for windows, loggias

and glazed facades alike. It softens glaring light, keeps rooms from

overheating and furniture from fading. As a dependable privacy

screen, the Aruba keeps out prying eyes. With a round or square

cassette to choose from, this product blends in with the surrounding

architecture. A vast range of colours and fabrics is available to

attractively dress up any facade. In use for many years, the tried and

tested Aruba family stands out for its numerous models to suit any

application and top quality design.

Aruba Markisolette

First ascending vertically and then extending to the desired pivot point – that is the Markisolette. The angling option gives the user a full view of the outside and gives the facade a relaxed look.

Aruba Droparm

The Aruba Droparm can be an-gled to give an unobstructed view of the outside. The strong arms with inner springs can be set to 90*or can be tilted to an angle of up to 150°.

Aruba Vertical

The Aruba Vertical shades your window with a chic fabric look. It covers the entire window surface if required, or can be set to the desired position depending on the position of the sun. Guided by a rust-resistant tensioned guide rope or an unobtrusive guide rail.

Aruba – highlights

The versatile range of Aruba products can be easily adapted to suit

all kinds of building types, so any requirement can be met. Strong

parts mean the products can cope with heavier wind loads, making

the Aruba an excellent all round solution for sun protection for

vertical windows. That’s why we off er the Aruba window awning

as a markisolette, droparm awning and a vertical awning – the

last of which is available as a rope or rail guide version.

Varied designs: round and square cassettes

Harmonising with the archi-tecture – exactly how you like it. The fabric is concealed and protected in an attractive,

robust aluminium cassette. Two shapes are availble – round or square.

A beautifully tensioned fabric is the most vital part of every awning. The arms of the Aruba Droparm and the Markisolette

guarantee optimised high arm tension because of their strong inner springs.

High spring tension – for large units and long service life

Wind lock safety device and rolling bearing

The Aruba Droparm and Markisolette can withstand surging winds because of the strong wind lock safety device.

Intelligent roller bearings stop the unit from jamming in case of strong side winds.

Flexible bearing – low-noise operation, even in gusty winds

The weighted bottom rail of the Aruba runs evenly along the fl at, unobtrusive side guide rails. It disappears almost completely

into the cassette on retraction and the velvety fl ocked sliders reduce the running noise.

Delicate rope guide – timeless and unobtrusive

The strong stainless steel side guide rope is tensioned into the cassette. The Aruba vertical with side guide rope is the simplest

version, and in it’s retracted state the weighted bottom rail disappears almost completely into the cassette housing.

The hallmark of weinor magic colours is its vibrant patterns and high-stretch polyester which retracts to its original smooth state in warm condi-tions (weinor Memory-Eff ekt®).

The special climate control fabrics Soltis® and Perluca are particularly

suitable for the Arubas. Due to their fi ne perforation, they are air-

permeale and prevent heat accumulation. At the same time, they

protect against wind and allow the surroundings to be seen from the

inside (transparent from dark to light colours). An attractive alter-

native are the opaque fabrics from the weinor ranges true colours

and magic colours. weinor fabrics are water and dirt repellant due to

the Tefl on EXTREME® treatment. As the colour pigments are already

embedded (solution-dyed) into the basic fi bres, the fabrics maintain

their brilliant colour throughout. Colour through and through.

As a result of the ban on the use of heavy metals in powder coatings, paint manufacturers can no longer guarantee colour stability despite making every eff ort to do so. It therefore cannot be excluded that colours in general, and Fire Red (RAL 3000) in particular, may fade with time. Colours may diff er signifi cantly due to the printing process.

Important:For textile sun protection: creases occur during manu-facture and when folding the awning fabrics. This can lead to the areas of the fold appearing darker when seen against the light, particularly with light colours. Folds in the hem, seam and fabric lengths occur where there are multiple layers of the woven fabric and diff er-ent rolling thicknesses on the fabric roller. The resulting

fabric tension can cause waviness (e.g. honeycomb or fi sh bone patterns). In principle, these eff ects occur to varying degrees in almost all awning fabrics. Creases and folds do not detract from the value and usability of an awning. Awnings and conservatory awnings are sun protection devices which should be retracted when it is raining or windy. Wet fabric creases more easily and as

far as possible should only be retracted after drying out (please take care in strong winds and avoid pooling). Depending on the colour of the ordered frame, we supply all small parts as well as crank handles and gear boxes for systems with crank mechanisms in black (similar to RAL 9005), white (similar to RAL 9016) or grey (similar to weinor 7319).
