Objectives: The students will learn what community helpers are and what jobs they do. The child uses language to communicate information, experiences, ideas, and stories. The child begins to recognize letters of the alphabets. The child sorts and compares objects by size, length, weight, area, and temperature. The child begins to recognize, describe, reproduce, and extend simple patterns. The child begins to compare numbers of concrete objects using language.
The child recognizes properties (e.g., color, size, shape, states of matter) and compares weight, temperature.
