Portable magnets provided for temporary speed restrictions on all sections of line equipped withAutomatic Warning System as shown in Table Z of the Sectional Appendix.In the case of items marked * the Warning Boards and Indicators will be moved as the work progressesand the restriction will not operate over more than 3A m i l e a t o n e t i m e .In the case of items marked t the Warning Boards will be lit by propane-gas.

DONCASTER SOUTH AND NORTH : EXPERIMENTAL WARNING BOARDS AND INDICATORS
The warning board, speed and termination indicators for the temporary speed restriction on the DownFast between 155m. 56chs. and 156m. 211 c h s . h a v e b e e n r e p l a c e d b y t h e f o l l o w in g e x p e r i me n t a l s i g ns .
Warning Board T h e warning board is a yellow rectangular shape, without chevron ends, andincorporates two white electric lights which flash. The Warning board issurmounted by two speed indicators, mounted vertically directly above eachother, both showing the restricted speed. The top indication shows whitenumerals on a blue background and the bottom indication shows whitenumerals on a black background. (The two indications are not for"differential" purposes but for comparison of the colours).

For this experimental purpose, the requirements of the Rule Book, Section T, Part V are modifiedaccordingly. A Handsignalman is not provided at the Warning Board during fog or falling snow.
Drivers are invited to comment on the effectiveness of these boards and should submit a report throughtheir Depot Supervisor to the Chief Operating Manager York (ref. M0/45)
DONCASTER STATION PLATFORM 3
Due to Platform rebuilding work E.C.M.L. trains stopping at Doncaster will require to draw forward to andstop at D.282 signal at the south end of Platform 3. Trains for Sheffield in Platform 3B must stop at themarker board provided, which will be moved as work progresses. Passengers must be advised to take carewhen alighting.
On Sunday 15 June 1980, a helicopter will be carrying out aerial photography over the sections of lineSheffield-York-Hellifield-Carnforth, between the hours 11 00 and 1745. ( 2 4 )
