Our historic landmark hotel, neighboring the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue, offers gracefully orchestrated celebrations of consistent quality, classic elegance and personalized service that are the hallmarks of a Willard InterContinental wedding. Our Ballroom Foyer and Buchanan Rooms or the Willard Room may be ideal for a cocktail reception for approximately 150-350 guests. Following cocktails, guests will be led through the magnificence of Peacock Alley as they transition into the Crystal, Willard Room or Grand Ballroom.

The Beaux Arts architecture of the Ballroom will shimmer with the glow of gorgeous antique, crystal chandeliers as guests enjoy a wedding ceremony and a culinary feast customized especially for you and your fiancé by our Michelin acclaimed Executive Chef, Luc Dendievel. Chef Dendievel will work with you to fuse culinary components that incorporate your personal tastes and preferences into all aspects of the menu. The Crystal Room was the original Ballroom for the Willard when it first opened in 1901. It, too, has been brought back to its original design with floor to ceiling windows, marble columns and ornate hand-carved gold leaf moldings. The Willard Room, formerly the Hotel’s fine dining room, has also been restored to its original design. It boasts six exquisite brass chandeliers, floor to ceiling windows and marble columns, as well as ornate gold leaf molding and hand carved wood accents throughout the ceiling.

GENERAL PRICINGOur current custom wedding packages start at $185.00 per person and go to $285.00 per person depending on your taste and style. Our custom packages generally include 4 or 5 hour open bar, beautifully presented butler passed hors d’ oeuvre, a variety of sumptuous food stations or 3-4 course dinner, wine service during dinner, the wedding cake designed to your specifications and a champagne toast. This package price is exclusive of 21% service charge and 10% DC sales tax. There are no additional room rentals or set up fees associated with booking the Willard.

In addition, we are also pleased to offer a block of guestrooms at a discounted rate the weekend of your wedding as well as a complimentary stay in one of our many breathtaking suites the evening of your wedding celebration, once a date has been selected.
