WORLD TRAVELER ASSIGNMENT
Throughout this semester we have had the opportunity to learn about different countries and locations around the world. You now have an opportunity to take what we have learned and create a dream trip you would like to take. Each of you has been given the chance to visit any place on the globe you wish. You must present to your teacher what you will require for your trip. Much like any big trip, there is much planning to do before you can travel to you dream destination. You will have to create the following travel plans so that you are ready to embark on your trip. This will be your final project of the year.

Site SeeingWhat major cities or landmarks will you visit? Write a description that includes why you chose this
place, its' importance, and what city it is located in. Draw and color a photo of you at this location while on your trip.
Identification – While on this trip you will be two types of site. These sites will either be places of historical value or a wonder of nature. For each location you must identify the site, its location and explain why it is important. As most tourists do, you will then take a picture of yourself at this location. Since you do not have a physically travel to this location, you must draw a picture of yourself at the location.

Historical Value – What event or use does the site have that makes it important to your country? What event or period was this site in use? Were there any historical figures who were associated with it?

Cultural Values – Why is this location important to the people of that nation? Why is it visited/used/preserved? Why is important to the people of this country?
