Sessional Assistant in Statistics (10 Weeks Fixed Term, Full Time) School of Mathematics and Statistics We are seeking a ‘Sessional Assistant in Statistics’ to support the Course Coordinators in developing written tutorial and test questions for STAT193 and QUAN102 over the November 2016 – February 2017 summer break. If you can demonstrate good academic knowledge in statistics including the ability to convey statistics in simple writing terms that can be understood at by first year students, manage time, plan work to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure, we encourage you to apply. Ideally you would have completed at least a minimum of 30 points of 300 level papers in Statistics with grades B+ or above. You need good written English skills, as well as word processing, Excel and basic R programming.
