It takes repeated attempts, endless demonstrations, monotonous rehearsals before innovation can be accepted and internalized by an organization. We facilitate our students to utilise their energy in the best possible manner and contribute to the society as civilised citizens. In the journey of stepping towards real innovation, we feel worth mentioning the accomplishments of our students in the third volume of newsletter of ATAL TINKERING LAB. INTER-SCHOOL EVENTS SYNERGY 2019 The students of our school participated in the annual fest of SGT University, Gurugram. This 3-day event provided them with opportunities to explore and gain insights into innovations in diverse fields. The competitions were organised at Inter-school and Inter-college Level but altogether it was a learning fair where stalls were put up from all fields ranging from allopathic, ayurvedic, homeopathy medical science, naturopathy, hotel management, behavioural sciences, human psychology, information and communication technology, artificial intelligence, laws on social issues, fashion and textile industry etc. Through these stalls, our students got engaged in a variety of activities in the activities in the respective fields and assessed their own knowledge in these fields.

INTER-SCHOOL EVENTS

SYNERGY 2019

The students of our school participated in the annual fest of SGT University, Gurugram. This 3-day event provided them with opportunities to explore and gain insights into innovations in diverse fields. Our students participated in Inter-school category in Innovative project display where Mohit of Class X presented his Agrobot and secured First Position and a Cash prize of Rs. 15000.

Kushagra Rana (VIII-D), Krish (VIII-D) and Yash Ujjwal (VIII-A) presented their project on smartbin and were the youngest participants in their category. They were really appreciated for their efforts and clarity of concepts over using ATL equipments.

Angelo (XII) and Tansih (XII) participated in Robotics competition. They qualified all the three rounds (Robowar, Roborace and Innovation) and were successful in securing Third Position as per their cumulative score. They were awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 5000.

Our students were felicitated at the valedictory function by the Chief Guest Shri Dattatreya Hosable, Sah-Sarakaryavaah of the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh and Guest of Honor Sudhansh Pant, IAS, Joint Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare.

The participants were recognised and appreciated for their efforts in the morning assembly by our honourable Principal Ms. Geeta Kapur.

Workshop Session at Army Public School, Shankar Vihar

Our students participated in TECHNOMANIA- ATL Fest and attended workshop sessions on Paper Circuit, Aeromodelling Kit and Arduino Programming. It was a joyful learning experience.

In the Inter-School competition, our students participated in Magical Cards and Science Behind Magic.

TINKERFEST 2019 AT PRAGATI PUBLIC SCHOOL

We felt pride in organising our much awaited First Tinkerfest 2019 which enabled us to collaborate with schools to explore the world of innovation and gain insights into the minds of young budding scientists.

Our Principal Mrs. Geeta Kapur addressed the audience with her inspiring words and motivated the students to continue investing their efforts in the path towards innovation.Around 12 schools participated in a range of competitions which varied from Student Innovator, A Debate on Artificial Intelligence- A threat to Manpower, and Robowar. The event was graced by the presence of our honourable Chairperson Dr. (Ms.) Poonam Manshani, Principal Mrs. Geeta Kapur along with the esteemed panel of judges- Mr. Jay Krishnan, Journalist; Mrs. Ruchira Shukla, HOD Integrated Science, PPS; Mr. Vikas Jain, CEO Adhyan Group and Motivational Speaker on Artificial Intelligence; Ms. Anasua Talukdar, HOD, English,PPS; Ms. Anapurna Razdan, HOD,Computer Science,PPS; Mr. Aman Kumar Thapak, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering, SGT University and Mr. Pradeep, HOD, Physics,PPS.

Workshop Session on Artificial Intelligence

Our students attended a workshop session on pros and cons of Artificial Intelligence at NK Bargodia School, Dwarka Sector-4. They also presented their Smartbin project in the Inter-School competition.

Tinkerfest at Bal Bhavan International School

Our students participated in Science Fest and Tinkerfest organised at Bal Bhavan International School, Dwarka Sector-12 on 21st December 2019.

They presented their innovative project on the chosen theme “SELF-DEFENCE” and designed a ‘RING TRAZOR’. A ring was designed with an inbuilt electric circuit which worked as a defence mechanism to give electric shock to the attacker, meanwhile providing time to the victim to escape.At the same time, it was connected to an app using GPS which sends the location of the victim to his/her near and dear ones.The estimated cost of the protoype was Rs.150-200.

Kushagra Rana (VIII-D) and Nivedita Bhasin (VII-B) have secured First Position in this event.

Hiten Yadav (VII-B) and Ansh Pandita ( VII-B) have secured Second Position in Waste to Wealth. They had utilised electronic waste and car filters to design Air Purifier.

Our students were appreciated for their creative ideas by the honourable judges at the event- Mr. V.Selva Ranjan, Environment Activist, Director Of Diligence Academy and Mr. Aman Kumar Thapak, Assistant Professor, Robotics and Automobile Engineering Department, SGT University.

Our young achievers were felicitated by our honourable Chairperson Dr. (Ms. Poonam Manshani) and Principal Mrs. Geeta Kapur in the special assembly.
