The system offers extremely high performance and functionality

levels thanks to Remote Sensitivity Control technology.

It communicates with the monitoring station through a multitude

of communication vectors, using proprietary protocols and

transmitting specific and detailed information. The monitoring

station can program and constantly monitor the system from

a distance and, with the help of sophisticated diagnostic tools,

check the functioning and obtain the necessary information

to maintain and improve its performance.

Tecnoalarm

ProgrammingParameterization of the TP8-64 BUS system can be made locally or froma distance, via telephone line using the Tecnoalarm programming software.The highly performing programming software and the system’s extensiveprogramming facilities permit an extremely high level of customization.

ZonesSystem configuration is entirely modular thanks to a complete range of inputexpansions. The 8 SENSOR BUS inputs of the CPU constitute the basic versionof the system. These are expandable to a total of 64 zones which can be freelyassociated to the hard-wired and wireless inputs of the connected hardware(max. 64 hard-wired zones and max. 32 wireless zones). The extensive zoneprogramming facilities allow to obtain high performances even from traditionaldetectors, but it is only by the use of RDV and RSC detectors that the systemtaps the full potential and reaches maximum levels of performance. Thesedetectors permit checking, verifying and analyzing of the alarms throughspecific diagnostic windows at the very moment they occur. The traditionalthreshold towards telemaintenance has been overstepped and a new concept of interaction has been proposed. (RDV® and RSC® are registeredtrademarks and protected by international patent)

Programs and control unitsThe TP8-64 BUS system controls 8 arming programs. A huge range ofcontrol units, among these LCD consoles with voice synthesis, transponders,wireless keys, RFID cards and biometric finger print readers, is able to meetany kind of requirement. Outstanding is the exclusive TSP7000 video consolewith a 7 inches touch screen and biometric finger print reader. The systemcan manage access to the functionalities through user-specific access levelsby means of 64 codes, 32 transponders or RFID cards, 32 wireless keys,32 finger prints. Access to the protected area can be automated andscheduled by 8 access periods and 16 timers.

Integrated video surveillanceUsing the optional TSP LINK interface, the TP8-64 BUS alarm systempermits the integration of the Videoalarm video surveillance system.The synergy of both systems offers significant functional advantages,which would not be obtainable from traditional video surveillance systems.The integration guarantees the complete interaction. The link between bothsystems is the TSP7000 video console which manages the duplex operationeasily and efficiently.

Telephone sectionThe sophisticated telephone section provides 8 channels which are compatiblewith the three major vectors: PSTN, GSM/GPRS (using an external GSMtelephone communicator) and Ethernet (using the PROG NET2 interface).The telephone section implements all the major communication protocols,i.e. speech, SMS, FSK, DTMF and TCP/IP. The voice messages are composedautomatically by the system. Using the onboard vocabulary, it is in factpossible to send precise and detailed alarm messages with indication ofthe interested zones. The system is able to communicate with third-partycentral monitoring stations using 156 proprietary protocols.

InteractionThe TP8-64 BUS system provides 8 remote controls permitting the userto interact with the system at any time through telephone calls or SMSmessages. The remote controls are customizable and allow to interrogateand manage system functions as well as external devices such as heating,air-conditioning or lighting systems.

Event logThe log contains the events relating to system functioning, i.e. the alarms,the diagnostics and the changes in state. A maximum of 1,000 events arerecorded in reverse chronological order, with indication of date and time,in a non-volatile memory. For each event precise information is suppliedand the relating zones, programs, remote controls, phone calls are easilyidentified by a number and/or a description. The Tecnoalarm monitoringstation can interrogate the event log at any time and obtain the necessaryinformation to check the system’s functioning status.

Wireless sectionThe wireless expansion of the system is possible by the installation of up to2 wireless receiver-transmitters managing a total of 32 wireless keys,32 detectors, 4 consoles and 4 sirens. The wide range of Tecnoalarmwireless detectors, composed of indoor and outdoor motion detectorsas well as perimeter protections, offers the right solution for any kind ofprotection requirements.
