What is “Collections”?

Generally thought of a separate unit or vendor to collect “aged” cases

Collections can be a part of every stage of case processing Including a separate Court unit and/or outside entity

Look at all court operations for collection opportunities* Flow chart or diagram your court processes, starting

with citations, and look for ways to make compliance easier, faster

Implement changes, analyze the results for effectiveness
