We optimize images for a 5x file transfer speed

Speed is of the essence when delivering data via the mobile devices. The amount of time individuals have when working on mobile devices is substantially shortened. Their attention span is limited to seconds vs. minutes. We understand the dynamics of the mobile devices and work diligently to ensure your website is delivered at the maximum speed possible.

One of our “tricks” to speed up the delivery of data is through leveraging the power of your cache. We do not need to send a color when another one has already been delivered, we do not need to send a frame of one webpage when the same framework applied on another. Another trick “up our sleeve” is how we dither images. Dithering is the process of taking an image that is perhaps 16.7 million colors and identifying the 42,000 or so unique colors in the image. By creating a custom palette that contains the 42k or so colors we can reduce the file size by up to 80%. A great many times the accompanying color palette is what takes the great majority of the space and hence the bandwidth when delivering the image.
