World’s largest solar hybrid power plant for an off-grid gold mine in Burkina Faso, Africa.Hybridising an existing 57 MW diesel power plant with a new 15 MWp solar PV plant and relatedhybrid plant controls.It is estimated that this will reduce fuel consumption by some 6 million litres per year, while reducingthe plant’s annual CO2 emissions by as much as 18,500 tons.
