What a season to start a new thing, explore new ideas and improve our life with the right beat ! These def i-nitely make summer in Seattle the most unforget table and the most wanted time in a year.

As we walk along the sea shore under the shimmer-ing sun, we would feel a refreshing oceanic breeze. Or, simply lay down on the park and tranquil your mind by relaxing grassy scents. As we gaze beyond the earth bound-aries, thinking outside school and work demands, we found “Vuelto” which literally means “Change.” A change that gives new element to a mundane daily routine, a change that takes out a mediocre and average lifestyle, a change that could be shared.

Eddie Amintohir

Dream It - Believe It - Live It

Jus t as the changing weather would glori fy each season down to minutes of de ta i l s , t hus our company would provide our community of big dreamers with the right tools, the right directions and sources which would enable them to achieve their dreams. The way our magazine works is just l ike Global Posi t ioning System for your dream : you won’t get lost and it warns you of any obstacles and it will also help you to anticipate for each sharp turn – YOU WILL NOT GET LOST !

Of course we had made thousands or even millions of mistakes to come to this point but that will not stop us from pushing forward towards our dreams. Now we are on the way to the top of the highest possibilities and excitement that people could ever imag-ine – Are you coming with us?

You would be amazed how we are going to take you of f the ground and untie your boundaries which may have been with you for decades. All of us only have one time to live a life that we want and a dream we want to achieve : don’t let your thoughts limit you for what you are actually capable of.

EDUCATIONREALLY WORTH IT

Page 11: Vuelto 1st Edition

With the United States evergrowingdebt reachingnearly$16 trilliondollars;thatmeanseachtaxpayerhasanestimateddebtburdenofabout$138,000.TherearesomuchdebtscirculatingintheUnited States economy and that forcesthe Federal government to cut spendinginmanyimperativeareasofthecountry’sgrowth;suchasfreezingFederalemploy-ees’ salary, education and many more.President Obama once said that educa-tion is a necessity to maintain a strongeducatedworkforceintheUnitedStates.Inspiteofthehighunemploymentinthenation’s workforce, most Americans feeldiscouraged to return back to school toupgrade their skills because of the highrising tuition cost. In addition, with theFederal Government considering to raisethe interest ratesof theStafford studentloans, that further defers more peoplefrompursuinganhighereducation.

So,whatcouldbedonetocom-bat such difficult times? There aremanyways to combat such hindrance. First, people whom are graduating from highschoolcouldconsiderstudyingatacom-munity college and transfer to a 4 yearinstitution after their initial 2 year. Thecommunity colleges are vastly cheaperthan most universities; students usuallypay less than half of what their counterpartswouldbepayingatauniversityandstudentscouldsaveonlivingexpensesbyliving at home. In addition, communitycollegeisagreatwaytogetyourfeetwetabout college life, because the classes incommunitycollegesusuallyhaveasmallerstudentpool size thanuniversity classes;thatwouldmeanthattheprofessorshavemore time to commit to each studentandstudentscouldhaveabetterlearningcurvestudyingatacommunitycollege.

Second, another great way to counterthe cost of higher education, people could startlearning fromonlineclasses; recentlyMassachu-setts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Stanfordhasstartedofferingonlineclassestothegeneralpublicwithoutanypayment.Thatmeansanybodywhomhasaccesstotheinternetcouldstarttakingclasses fromprofessors teachingatMITorStan-ford. According to Forbes, a Stanford professorSebastian Thrun offered his “Instruction to Arti-ficial Intelligence” courseonlinewithout charge.Therewereasmanyas160,000peoplesignedupforthatcourse.Theprofessoralsomentionedthatthepeoplecouldprobablygetthesamequalityofeducationforjust1to2percentofthecost.(Ron-aldTrowbridge,2012)

Finally,peopleshouldn’tbeburdenbythecostofrisingeducation.Educationisanim-portantaspectofsocietyandithelpstomaintaina strong workforce that will eventually attractmore investors to invest in United States be-causeof thestrongeducatedworkforce. In thelong run, cutting education isn’t the right waytoreducegovernmentspending, itwillprobablycostmore harm than good. However, the gov-ernmentcouldconsiderlookingtocutspendingsomewhere else; such as military spending orevendoataxreform.Withsomanyliveswouldbestake,thegovernmentshouldtakeaseriousconsiderationaboutraisingtheStaffordstudentloanorcuttingspendingineducation.

The Ugandan school system is pro-grammed with nine-months gap before uni-versity. Usually, students would take this time to work and earn money for tuition. However, due to the patriarchal society in Uganda, young women often struggles to find fair work, which consequently hinder them from achieving their dreams.
