Evaluating Performance A weight measurement (ppm) is misleading

(a 1/2’’ marble = 256 Billion particles of 2 micron).

In terms of process and fouling capacity…. It is very different

Particle Counting Provides a complete picture

Removing the marble means:

• 50% removal on a ppm basis

• Inefficient on a particle count basis
