Setup VM (for Mayo Clinic users)

• Prerequisites– Be on campus with Mayo Intranet– OR –– Have access to Mayo VPN/Remote Access

on your computer

Setup VM (for Mayo Clinic users)

• Open Global Applications in the Mayo Doc and type ‘VMWare’

• Install • Login with your Mayo Clinic

username & password

Setup VM (for Mayo Clinic users)

• Once logged in, choose the Computational Genomics Course icon (this will be your virtual desktop)

Setup VM (for Mayo Clinic users)• Once the platform opens, minimize it to split screens with blackboard

collaborate, this will allow you to follow along with the TAs.*DO NOT open blackboard collaborate within the virtual desktop, it will cause issues. (image below shows VMWare desktop minimized on the left and Blackboard on the right)
