Important instructions to the candidates who are reporting for admission to MD / MS Programmes in the Round 2 under NEET PG Counselling 2020

Dear Candidate / Parents,

As per the MCC of DGHS, Govt. of India letter No.U-12021/44/2019/47-MEC, Dated.12.06.2020, the Candidates who have been allotted to MD / MS seats in the round - 2 under NEET PG Counselling 2020 are advised to take note of the following points and comply with the requirements.

Date of Reporting: 16.06.2020 to 30.06.2020 Time: 10 am to 04 pm

A. The candidates are requested to physically report to the college accompanied by ONE Parent / Guardian along with their original documents for taking admission.

B. All Candidates and the accompanying person must compulsorily wear mask and keep Social distancing at the time of reporting.

C. All Candidates and the accompanying person should have downloaded the “Aarogya Sethu App” in their mobile and it will be verified at the time of reporting.

D. The candidates will be required to comply with the guidelines relating to COVID – 19 Pandemic issued by the Govt. authorities strictly.

E. The candidates are hereby informed to visit www.mcc.nic.in - > PG Medical Counseling (Medical Counseling Committee under DGHS) for further information.

F. All Candidates and the accompanying person should sanitize their hand pre and post entering the area dedicated for admission process and will compulsorily undergo ‘Thermal Scanning’.

G. For the candidates coming from the outside Salem / State, Hostel Accommodation will be provided initially in the “Quarantine Block” for a minimum of 7 days and thereafter they will be allotted hostel room on regular basis.

H. All MD / MS candidates will be tested for Covid-19 at the hostel, before commencement of the training. If any candidate is found with Covid – 19 positive,

he / she will be advised for Home Quarantine / admission in “Covid Ward”. Such candidate shall be required to comply with the guidelines / undergo treatment as prescribed by the Govt. authorities in relation to Covid – 19 pandemic.

I. The program for training for Medical PGs will commence on 1st July, 2020 and the candidates are advised to come prepared accordingly.

J. All candidates are advised to bring ID card / documents relating to their existing Health Insurance coverage, if any, done already.

K. The candidates already admitted to MD / MS program in the Round – 1 are advised to report for verification of original certificates preferably from 16.06.2020 to 30.06.2020 so that it would be more convenient to them to start duty / training on 01st July 2020.

1) General Instructions for reporting candidates: a) Candidates who have been allotted through centralized counseling by the MCC of DGHS,

New Delhi for admission to MD/MS Degree courses in Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda

Variyar Medical College & Hospitals, Salem for the academic year 2020-21, are advised to

report and complete the admission process strictly within the date and time specified in

the ‘Allotment Letter’ issued by the MCC of DGHS.

b) The Candidates should report along with original certificates and proof for payment of

prescribed tuition fee and other fee preferably by Electronic Fund Transfer through RTGS.

Demand Draft will also be accepted for Physical Reporting only.

c) i) Candidates without original certificates / documents shall not be allowed to take admission in the allotted Medical College.

ii) Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute /College / University and come for admission with a certificate stating that “their original certificates are deposited with Institute /College / University” shall not be allowed to take admission in the allotted Medical College.

d) Every student shall pay the tuition fee and other fee, as prescribed by the University,

within the due date notified.

e) Part payment of tuition fee and other fees are not permitted.

f) No extension of time either for payment of fee or submission of original certificates will be entertained under any circumstances.

g) Candidates are advised to check the website of the DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi website: www.mcc.nic.in and College website: www.vmkvmc.edu.in from time to time.

h) Allotment letter given by the DGHS for admission is subject to fulfillment of all eligibility criteria prescribed by the MCI and medical fitness of the candidates. Those who do not fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria and not found medically fit, will not be admitted to the course of study to which they are allotted by the DGHS. If it is found at a later stage, that the candidate has given false information / forged certificates or concealed material information, his/her admission will be cancelled without any notice.

i) Students will be governed by all the University rules including rules for refund of fee, disciplinary rules and hostel rules etc.

j) All the disputes/arbitration arising in the interpretation and implementation of the provisions in this prospectus will be referred to the Vice-Chancellor, Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University) and Vice-Chancellor’s decision shall be final and binding.

k) At the time of admission, candidates should sign declaration / undertaking declaring that, they shall abide by the rules and regulations of the University including Anti-Ragging regulations of the UGC/MCI and observe good conduct and behavior and that they are bound by the University rules on payment of fees / refund of fees

2. The candidates should bring the following Certificates / Documents in original (along with 4 sets of Photocopies of the same without fail):

1 Provisional Allotment letter issued by the MCC of DGHS, Govt. of India, New Delhi.

2 NEET – PG Admit Card issued by the National Board of Examinations (NBE),New Delhi.

3 NEET –PG Result / Rank letter issued by the NBE, New Delhi.

4 MBBS Mark Statements (First year to Final Year) or Consolidated Statement of

Marks.

5 MBBS Attempt Certificate (First year to Final Year)

6 MBBS Degree / Provisional Certificate.

7 MBBS Internship Completion Certificate (Candidate shall complete the Internship by 31st March of the year of admission).

8 Permanent / Provisional Registration Certificate issued by the MCI or any State Medical Council. Provisional Registration Certificate is acceptable only in case where candidate is undergoing internship likely to complete the same on or before 31st March of the year of admission.

9 NOC from State Medical Council Concerned for registering in Tamil Nadu Medical Council Registration (for other state candidates –if possible)

10 10th & 12th Marks sheet / Birth Certificate as proof of Date of Birth.

11 Any one of the identification proof (ID Proof) as mentioned in the information Bulletin published by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi (i.e., Aadhaar Card /PAN Card/ Passport /Driving License/Voter ID.)

12 Community certificate, if applicable

13 Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution last

studied.

15 Medical Certificate for Physical Fitness and mental soundness from a Medical Officer not below the rank of a Govt. Civil Surgeon.

5. REFUND POLICY:

If any candidate discontinues from the course and the seat is rendered vacant, the first year fee paid will be forfeited and the student have to remit the ‘entire course fee’ for the remaining years of the course period.

04 If any candidate resigns / withdraws after the last date of admission as prescribed by the DGHS/ MCI.

The entire course fee for the remaining years of the course period has to be paid by the candidate.
