Viking ArmourTo start of with armour I’m going to tell you about the Vikings helmets. Now we all think that their helmets had little horns coming out of them but in fact the helmets didn't have horns actually their helmets didn't have anything on them.

The Higher status Vikings wore chain mail which as you can tell by the name is made out of chain and provides good protection when in battle but the lower status had the option of leather and/or cloth which didn’t make for much protection and didn’t last as well over the years but I guess its better than nothing.
