PROJECT SUPPORTING SCHOOL COMMUNITIES & RURAL VILLAGES.Projects are either based at village schools in the Mai Chau region, a few hours outside Hanoi or rural schools and communities outside of Siem Reap or Phnom Penh. Teams may be involved in decorating/painting classrooms, renovating kitchens, installing water tanks and play areas or building desks and book shelves for libraries. The local village children are always eager to learn English and play sports and games with the students, a highlight of the project!
TREK STUNNING TREKS IN HILL TRIBE REGION OF VIETNAM OR VILLAGE TREKS IN CAMBODIA.The northwest highlands of Vietnam provide the venue for some spectacular trekking. Teams travel through local villages home to ethnic hill tribes and will sleep in local homestays. Alternatively trekking in Cambodia takes place in rural areas staying in stilt-house homestays in farming villages and can finish at the Angkor Temples. This is an opportunity to gain a real understanding of life of the local people of Vietnam and Cambodia and taste amazing and authentic food.
EXPLORE! FROM HANOI TO ANGKOR WAT AND BEYOND!Students can soak up the sights of beautiful Hanoi, with its famous Old Quarter, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam while exploring the cities of Siem Reap and Phnom Penh in Cambodia. They then can choose to relax in stunning Halong Bay, eat delicious food, discover great markets and relaxing beaches of these vibrant countries.
