The architecture is scalable to augment newer application modules

The basic building blocks of Videonetics software are interconnected
based on client-server architecture. This allows different modules to
run on independent computers connected through a LAN, eliminating
risk inherent in a single point of failure.

The Intelligent Video Management System can be managed remotely at
anytime and from anywhere, via a wired or wireless network. This could
be done using any computing platform including mobile devices (iPad,
iPhone, PDA, cell phone, laptop). Videonetics’ technology runs with any
browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Safari, Chrome, Opera) since it is not
dependent on any particular OS framework.

Intelligent Video Analytics
For intelligent monitoring of crowd, faces, traffic, vehicles, perimeter,
objects, as well as related movement, behaviour, track and statistical
analysis. Especially developed for the tough Indian environment and
extensively field-tested, it comes with a single framework core,
unprecedented scalability, scene adaptability, and flexible automatic
alert generation. It supports both server-based and edge analytics
frameworks.

Automatic Number Plate Recognition Suite
It automatically identifies all the moving vehicles in a scene by
their number plates. This and other information such as colour,
silhouette, and watermarked/encrypted snapshot of the vehicle are
stored in the event log database. Applications like red light violation
and detection of suspect vehicles are also enabled. The solution
sends out alerts without having to be physically present at the scene.
It can be integrated with other Videonetics’ technologies like Virtual
Loops for Vehicle Actuated Traffic Signal Control System.

Video Précis
This path-breaking technology time-condenses meaningful activity
in a scene in an overlapped time scale, helping the user to quickly
glance through hours of activity in just a few minutes. It can also be
integrated with Intelligent Video Analytics, with application of
relevant filter criteria. This allows quick review of hundreds of events
and identification of important clues, significantly reducing the
investigation time.
Retail Business Intelligence Suite
A multi-faceted tool that aids intelligent merchandising, and
enhances operational excellence, customer satisfaction and return
on investment. It measures customer concentration for a given time
period, detects queue length at POS counters, monitors customers'
attention to different products, tracks how they navigate within the
store, and generates several statistical measures. It also detects
potential security threats based on human behaviour.
Mobile Surveillance System
It enables remote monitoring of public gatherings from the control
room while police vans are on the move. It uses vehicle-mounted,
weather-proof PTZ cameras that are powered by car battery and can
be remotely controlled. Video recording and live streaming is enabled
to the control room using low bandwidth data network. The user
can zoom into relevant sections and capture their high resolution
images. Online storage is possible, allowing the video to be used as
forensic evidence.
Face Detection and Recognition
This technology is unique and is integrated with our VMS and Video
Analytics Suite. Faces of people in the scene/entry/exit gates are
automatically detected and captured in a face log, and can be
searched based on time-stamp for future investigation. They can
also be matched with a pre-defined face database in order to
automatically generate an alert in case of a close match. The
technology is robust with respect to variations in facial expressions, 0luminance, pose, and view angle variation even up to 25 .

While our software is flexible and feature-rich, a user may need
further customisation for a specific application. It is also important
to address cross-regional variations in infrastructure, environment,
culture and demographics, especially in India. We are able to meet

knowledge in image/video processing, computer vision, pattern
