Here’s how:1. Create your video. 2. Upload your video to a sharing site like YouTube or Vimeo.3. Send the link to Shaun Franklin-Sewell at comm@athe.org. Submit your video by May 15.

Then:A subcommittee of the 2014 Conference Committee will review the videos and select the winners!All of the videos will be shared on ATHE’s YouTube channel, and the winners will be featured on the ATHE website between June 1 and July 23.Plus, the first place winner will receive a $100 gift card for the Well & Being Spa at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.The second place winner will receive a $75 gift card to be used anywhere at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.

BTN / ATHE COLLABORATIONThe Black Theatre Network (BTN) and ATHE are collaborating once again to make attendance at each organization’s conference easy and cost-effective. Each group is providing reciprocal registrations. Any BTN member attending the BTN conference in New York City, from August 1-4, can receive a free registration to attend the ATHE Conference July 24-27 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Hotel in Scottsdale. The goal is to facilitate a better appreciation of each organization and what it offers through its conference.BTN is also offering this reciprocal option to ATHE members who would like to attend the BTN meeting following the ATHE Conference. To qualify for a free registration to either the BTN Conference or the ATHE Conference, please complete the following: on the registration page, check off the boxes if you are attending the BTN meeting and are a BTN member, and pay the regular registration fee for an ATHE member. (You do not have to be an ATHE member to qualify.) Onsite in Scottsdale, your confirmation of the prepayment for the BTN conference will trigger a refund of your ATHE registration fee.
