1. James B. Bonham Elementary facility is scheduled to reopen and continue its proud 89-year history

2. The Pie Tap & Bar’s parking arrangement and the resulting traffic congestion will be dangerous to all pedestrians (school children, residents, and patrons)

3. The quality of life for the adjacent residential properties will be adversely affected due to increases in noise, traffic congestion, and overflow parking on residential streets

1. The property is literally an island surrounded by a park, a school, and other adjacent residential properties

2. The front of the restaurant structure faces the neighborhood instead of facing Henderson Avenue

3. Ingress/Egress is provided on Bonita, a residential street

4. Over half of the applicant’s required parking is 443 feet away - best case -and 1584 feet away during peak Henderson traffic days/hours

5. The inefficient parking situation will cause gridlock which will force traffic to cut through the neighborhood
