Technical assistanceservices

The added value of our vibroacoustical solutions is thesignificant amount of technical assistance and engineering theyimply.

In the first stage we analyze the technical and economicalparameters of 'the problem' and visit in situ the installation ormachinery to be studied.

We define and develop the most effective solution either fromour normalized solutions, or ad hoc, always complying with allcurrent legislation (Spanish Technical Building Code CTE, RITEupdated in 2.007, EN81-1 concerning lifts, Labor Risk Preven-tion, etc.) In the process we supply our client with data sheetcontaining all the information required for his particular application.

We also develop special solutions based on projects from ourengineering department.

Together with our client, we check the viability of the solutionuntil we obtain his final approval.

problemsVibration and structural noise

We act as consultants for problems arising on starting upmachinery for the first time, or facilities already in use wich havedeveloped problems.

We pay technical visits to our clients in order to observe problemsin situ and subsequently write technical reports with technicalsolutions.

We provide our client with the most suitable vibroacoustic solutionin every case.

...”Good vibrations”We have believed in itsince the very beginning

We continuously make every effort to get closerto installation, maintenance and designer ex-perts. Our aim is to cover new requirementsand legal specifications for vibroacoustic comfortin buildings and installations, as well as issuesregarding labor risk prevention.

This commitment means we areconstantly working on improving ourservices and products, in particularour increasingly personalized cus-tomer service

We are currently working along thesame lines and consequently havenot only created more and novel vi-

broacoustic solutions suited to new technicalrequirements (Spanish Technical Building Code"CTE", 2007 RITE, but we have also doubled ourefforts to extend our engineering services.

Our vibroacoustic engineering department isnow equipped to assess, carry out vibroacousticinspections of installations and buildings, anddesign and finally certify implementation of ourprojects.

We are sincerely grateful to our clients andprofessionals from various sectors for theirpermanent support in developing new solutionsin the field of vibroacoustics.

Surface pressure in kg/cm2; 0,75-3.

PAD 416 Activity system comprising 2 mats of AD412 fitted for the toothed face. This gives more than double load per unit area of a single ironantivibratory element. Surface pressure: 1,7-11 Kg/cm2.

PAD 424 Improves the degree of vibroacoustic isolation by moving. Therefore,it consists of two toothed small mats AD412 mounted in series. Thesame load capacity with a small toothed mat AD412 being doublereduces the frequency thus improving the degree of vibratory isolation.Surface pressure: 0.3-2.4 kg/cm2.

PAD 230 System of small vibroacoustic mats with an intermediate mattress ofair cells that provides exceptional additional physical properties ofinsulation against the low frequency sound in acoustic impacts andmechanical blows that arise from dissipative effects of generatedenergy.Surface pressure: 0.05-3.6 kg/cm2.

Basic elements:

In floating benches we distinguish 3 basic elements:A. Machine object of isolationB. Inertial block that it will have to be measured depending

on the equipment.C. The elastic element that makes it possible to float the

inertial block

Vibcon has made diverse types of benches depending onthe type of machinery and emplacement.

Properties:They lower the center of garvity and increase the dynamic stabilityThey diminish the extent of the vibration due to the internal contributionto the vibroacoustic montingThey improve the uniformity of weight distribution on antivibratorsThey reduce the effects of the exterior forces originated by vibrationsderiving from the wrought (passive vibrations)Geometric effect of absorption

Vibcon calculates and povides the different elastic elements (C)necessary for its implementation, including assembly instructions, installation (F-31 forms) and/or facultative direction.

Characteristics:They are poured concrete floated by means of PA70 or PA100 rubberplugs, distributed by the surface and forming a reticle measured accordingto the following parameters:

Dimensions of the machine or installationDistribution of point loads(charges)Admissible overload of crossbeam or slab that will sustain itDynamic characteristics of the machineNecessary requirements of vibroacoustic isolation

Vibcon will calculate and supply the different vibroacoustic elementsnecessary for its implementation, as well as the precise instructionsfor correct mounting. Once the bench or floating soil is built, ourtechnical department will check it.

These series consist of insulators of the series VIB 1.000 B, but with theM-16 coil and the angular coil in the shape of a "Z" or an "L" as well asleveling and fixation crews of every model. From this form can be implemented normalized cogged metallic benchesand, later insulators can be placed depending on dimensions, loads andfrequency of the equipment.

VIBCON will carry out the calculations andmeasurement of benches, select the model and thenumber of units to be placed.Instructions for assembly will be attached.

Assembly:

By means of the M-16 screw leveler the benchcan be raised to the required height. Very usefulfor benches with functioning machinery andwhich needs to become free elastically withthe minimum of height (VIB 1.000 BL, from 5to 10 mm. And BZ, 30 mm.)

TR 2.100 series The models of this series are designed to suspend wrought combs ofwater pipelines, conduits and equipment which due to its dimensions andweight need to be installed with special supports, and which have significantlateral inflexibility, to prevent balancing at the time of the implementationof the assembly. Thus, a structure can be completely separated from the ground, preventingtransmission of vibration and structural noise.

To avoid inconveniences of mechanical vibrations and structural noiseit is necessary to operate directly at the source, that is to say, at thegroup engine - elevator tractor.

Dimensions in mm Applications

To avoid the transitory (impulse)of start-up and stop, whichappears in the shape of structuralnoise, VIBCON MTV metallicinsulators are placed.

For this technical characteristicsand elevator levels are request forthe calculation of suppor treactions. This calculation is madefor an empty elevator, and for onewith maximum load (maximumnominal load).

For high-speed elevators withvibrations, the group of joint framecables of the frame and cabin areisolated. Depending on the typeof group, Vibcon will study andindicate the most suitable elasticjoint.

For every elevator a SETOF ASSEMBLY MTV isprovided with specificinflexibility for every supportincluding assemblyinstruction from F31.

Besides the group isolation of the engine - tractor of an electromechanicalelevator, another important area of mechanical vibration has to beconsidered that induces structural noise: the cocking mechanism panels.

Generally they are hung or supported rigidly, and therefore they mustbe isolated by means of properly calculated insulators.

Elastic supports are designed by means of MINIVIB-2T with angularnormalization to facilitate the assembly, or by means of another solutionadapted to the individual case.

The clamps of the guides normaly transmit vibration to housing when theelevator moves in the phases of ascent, descent or the transitory stop.

Viscoelastic materials designed to separate the abovementioned jointsfrom the ground and transmission of vibration is reduced to verticalparameters

Sheet acoustically tight adhesiveGOMFLEX

Description:

The bands of acoustically tight material “GOMFLEX” have adhesive tapeon one side to facilitate union to a metallic profile or smooth surfaces ofany type of material.

Its particular advantage is acoustic tightness, as it adapts easily to anyclosing or joining profile, preventing any air gap, and thus the transmissionof air noise.

RectangularMufflers SR

Description:

Vibcon “Cabins and acoustic screens” are constructed from modularpanels of cold-laminated steel and lacquers, with the first layer of primingbeing epoxy with a thickness of 10 microns. The interior contains a filling of high-density protected by a black cloth toprevents its decomposition.

Description:

The “Rectangular Mufflers SR” reduce the noise of air duct flow inventilation and air-conditioning equipment as well as other machines thatrequire aeration systems. For this purpose air is channeled through parallelbaffles in such a way that the passage and length (L) condition passiveattenuation level since part of the sound energy is diminished into heat.

To implement this attenuating function, the baffles are manufactured usinginorganic and incombustible mineral fibers with high acoustic absorption.

Measured rectangular Mufflers SR

The parameters required for correct sizing of SR mufflers are:

1. The section dimensions of the equipment’s air duct (W x H).2. Air flow (m3/h) and maximum admissible load loss (mm. c.d.a.) of the equipment.3. Lenght “L” (mm) and air passage of baffles “P” (cm) to define the required attenuation.

Design and custom-made construction

For the implementation of every cabin or screening, Vibcon'sengineering department will work out a project divided in threephases: calculation and design, follow-up and final certification.

Input data to be tested will be as follows:

Zone of acoustic sensibility where the machine is placed.Maximum level of sonorous exterior emission.Distance to the recipient.Sonorous power of the equipment.Sonorous spectrum of the equipment.Location established for machine placement.
