Versa Inserto Cushions

The Promedicare Verso Inserto range is the nexus that bridges the gap from the standard off the shelf positioning product and the high end hand made custom product. Starting from a flat base, a modular system of independent pre-shaped inserts is assembled to produce the required symmetric or asymmetric anatomic form and so provide total personalized support for each client. Many options are available to support, contain and align the trunk and pelvis thanks to a modular system consisting of lining, padding and independent pre-shaped inserts which when assembled follow the anatomical body shape. Any changes in posture or body form can be fully addressed by moving and relocating the pre-shaped inserts. All individual system components have dampening and anti-vibration proprieties. This modular system empowers the Seating Therapist to solve complex issues n the spot and allows for changes in sitting patterns over time, changes in condition or weight gain/loss.

The anatomical structure of Men and Women is different. The Inserto Modular Positioning Range is designed to adapt to these differing body shapes with a fully personalised fit. The pelvis must be fully supported: Anterior (in front of the ischia) Lateral (under the greater trochanters) Posterior (gluteal mass, coccyx, sacrum) The support must be different for men and women. The posture of the trunk also needs to be supported to stop the spine collapsing and to keep postural alignment. The support must be different for men and women.

The backrest shell is an important element from proper functionality. The choice of contour and the level of contour affects the functional posture of the trunk and the performance of accessories.

Each backrest comes with a Shell and an “Embracing Shapes” Kit. This allows you to evaluate, assess, customise and do post delivery adjustments. “Embracing Shapes” is the positioning system for the trunk. It is built inside the cover to increase adherence to the body shape and stabilise body support. Using the “embracing shapes” and the shape of the back rest shell allows you to push and contain the torso in harmony to best fit the users needs and give the Trunk Total Support.
