♦ VOGA is an Canadian based Oil and Gas Company focused on mature oil and gas fields.

♦ Operations in Canada, France, Netherlands, Ireland and Australia.

♦ In Australia we are 100% owner of the Wandoo field located 75km offshore Karratha.

♦ We acquired the Wandoo field from Ampolex in 2007.

♦ Wandoo currently produces around 8,000bopd.

The Wandoo Facilities

5

The Wandoo Story : WNA

Wandoo A

WNA installed in 1993 with

design life of 15 years.

Recertification was performed

for the structure in 2008 and

again in 2013.

WNA is an unmanned

monopod with 5 well heads.

6

The Wandoo Story: Construction

Wandoo B

The Wandoo Concrete

Gravity Structure (CGS)

was built by the Wandoo

Alliance in Bunbury, WA.

The CGS was towed to

the Wandoo Field, 75km

offshore Karratha, and

installed in 1996.

Design Life: 20 Years

Replacement Studies

♦ Wandoo A & B Studies completed in 2013 –

– Wandoo Assets Scoping Study

– SEA Flowline Replacement Study

– Export Offloading Configuration Screen Study

♦ Results from Flowline Replacement Study showed

that the cost of replacement (~$80M) was

uneconomical.

♦ Report recommended that a life extension feasibility

study was completed.

Initial Feasibility Review for LE

14

Operator Drivers

Vermilion Oil & Gas Australia (VOGA) intend to operate the Wandoo Oil Facilities for an extended period to end of field life, recent field development planning indicates that the platform is required for a further 20-years.

15

Life Extension Schedule

16

Life Extension Scopes

7 key systems were identified for life extension:

SSS1: WNB Superstructure SSS2: WNB Substructure SSS3: Subsea Systems (Flowlines) SSS4: Marine Systems (Export Systems) SSS5: Safety Systems SSS6: Wells SSS7: Process Systems

Life Extension Process- SOV

18

Basis of Design

♦ Establish the basis of original design

♦ Define the basis for life extension

♦ Analysis methodology

♦ Agreement on correct design codes, latest vs original

♦ Input requirements

♦ Software requirements

19

Inspections and Data Gathering

♦ ROV Campaigns

♦ Diving campaign

♦ Sonar

♦ Atmospheric survey - rope

♦ Internal inspections - CSE

♦ Intelligent Pigging

Extending the IMR Plans

29

Operator Experience

♦ Lessons Learnt-

– Early involvement of the Independent Verifying Body is

essential to ensure aligned life extension process

– Contractor selections is critical

– As-built historical documents can be difficult to locate

– Sheer amount of documentation required

– Dedicated personnel to project controls required

– Track ever changing schedules!

30

Summary

♦ Vermilion is on it’s way to achieving life extension of the

Wandoo assets

♦ Life extension doesn’t happen overnight – schedules,

resources and budgets need to be considered prior to

undertaking
