Venice, Italy

Venice is a city in northeast Italy. It is made up of a group of 118 small islands separated by canals and linked by bridges. It is located in the marshy Venetian Lagoon which stretches along the shoreline

between the mouths of the Po and the Piave Rivers.

Venice, Italy Venice has a seemingly unlimited amount

of tourist attractions. The Basilica of St. Marks is probably the most visited tourist attraction in the city. It is often described as a must-see sight for sightseeing in Venice for the first-time visitor. In St. Marks you can find lavish mosaics, the famous three bronze horses stolen from Constantinople, and the Pala D'Oro. The Doges Palace, Palazzo Ducale, is another popular tourist attraction for the sightseeing in Venice. It stands alongside the St. Marks Basilica and the two buildings echo influences of the East in their architectural style. The architecture is characterized as Byzantine-Gothic style making it seem very unique. Finally another popular attraction in the city is the Grand Canal. It is Venice's biggest and most elaborate tourist attraction stretching from the railway station to the far end of Venice where St. Marks square is to be found. This waterway provides an excellent sight seeing opportunity. Along the waterway you can see palaces, churches and numerous other buildings, all unique to Venice.

Venice, Italy• Venice's main role in the renaissance was

trading with foreign countries and improving the knowledge level of citizens. Venice brought Italy a lot of merchandise to support there strong economical stand point. They were able to do this by constructing multiple trading posts and trading with groups like Arabs. It's rather central location on the water made it ideal for traders/ships traveling back and forth. But Venice didn't just contribute to trading, they also assisted in education. Venice was and still is home to many universities. It allowed education to flourish, and during the renaissance this was vital.

Paris, France

Paris is located in Europe.It is not only one of the largest cities in France, but it is also the capital. It is situated on the river Seine, in northern France, in the Île-de-France region.

Paris, FranceParis is home to many tourist

attractions. One of the most known attractions is the Eiffel tower located in the Champ de Mars. Year after year thousands of tourist rush to the Eiffel Tower to get a glimpse of it´s unique architectural style. The Musée du Louvre is another popular tourist attraction. Musée du Louvre is French for the Louvre Museum. It is built in a unique style; in the shape of a triangular prism. Inside you can find breathtaking art. It is also home to the well known Mona Lisa. Finally, another well known tourist attraction in Paris is the Notre Dame. The Notre Dame was originally a cathedral. It´s gothic architecture is breath taking and is the main reason for it{s huge attraction.

Paris, FranceDuring the Renaissance Paris´s

main role was in its development of art techniques. Many well known artists came from Paris, and other parts of France. There are a number of French artists of incredible talent that arose during the renaissance, and contributed through their art. Architects in Paris also developed many gothic techniques. Tehy developed buildinmg like the well known Eiffel Tower and the Notre Dame.

Rome, Italy

Rome is the capital city of italy, and its the most populous city in Italy. The city is located in the central-western portion of the Italian Peninsula, on the Tiber Riverwithin the Lazio region of Italy. Rome is referred to as "The Eternal City", a notion expressed by ancient Roman poets and writers.

Rome, Italy One of the most known tourist attractions featured in Rome is Colosseum. Emperors used the Colosseum to entertain the public through games that were a symbol of prestige and power and they were a way for an emperor to increase his popularity. Its ruins still stand today and year round tourist visit it. Its architecture is often described as breathtaking. Another tourist attraction in Rome is the Fontana di Trevi. Nicola Salvi created the fountain. The central figure of the fountain, in front of a large niche, is Neptune, god of the sea. He is riding a chariot in the shape of a shell, pulled by two sea horses. Legend has it you will return to Rome if you throw a coin into the water. Finally another tourist attraction you can find in Rome is the Piazza Farnese. It is located in the historic heart of Rome, just an alley away from the more hectic Campo de' Fiori. The piazza is dominated by the Palazzo Farnese, a Renaissance palace commissioned by cardinal Allessandro Farnese.

Rome, Italy

Rome had a huge impact on the architecture during the Renaissance. Many architecture look back to ancient Rome for inspiration Roman concepts were highly relied on. Many artist also developed from Rome. Roman ideas and artistic styles for better word "set a next genaration of people thinking." Roman Architecture like the Colosseum interested these people.
