TRANSPORTATION

Studentsresidinginthe cityandwishingto availtransportationfacilityto theUPES campuscanavailthe sameafterpayinga feeof Rs.15,000for theacademicyear2010-11.

Studentsresidinginoutsourcedaccommodationwillbeprovidedto andfroTransportationfacilitytothecampus.

Boardersresidingwithinthecampuswillbeprovidedto andfroTransportationfacilitytothecityonceaweek.

RESERVATION OF SEATS

10%of seatsinall programssubjecttomeritare reservedfor domiciledstudentsfromUttarakhandsubjecttoproductionof domicilecertificate.However,inevent oftheseatsrunningunfilled,thesameshallbetreatedasunreserved.

ReservationsforDifferentlyAbledStudents :3%of seatsarereservedforDifferentlyAbledStudentswithminimumdisabilitytotheextentof40%.TheDifferentlyAbledcandidates arerequiredto submita certificatefromauthorizedMedicalDoctor/Hospitalindicatingthe extentofphysical disability. However,in eventofthe seatsrunningunfilled,thesameshallbetreatedasunreserved.

PLACEMENT

UPESshallprovideplacement assistanceto allenrolledstudents subjectto theirfulfilling eligibilityconditionsas prescribed inUPES PlacementRegulations.However,theobligationoftheUniversitywillbeonlytoprovidePlacementassistanceandnotPlacementguarantee.

WITHDRAWAL OF ADMISSION

UPESwillfollowUGCguidelinesregardingrefundoffees.Thechequeforamountof refundwillbeissuedinthenameofstudentonly.Onlythosecandidates whosedateof birth fallson orafter October 1,1988 areeligiblefor B.Tech& IntegratedLLB Programs. Dateof Birth asrecordedin theSecondaryEducationBoard/Universitycertificateonlywillbe takenasauthentic.

On the basis of information in the OMRApplication form, admit cardof provisionally eligible candidateswill be uploadedon the Universitywebsite www.upes.ac.in on15May,2010. Candidates arerequiredto downloadtheadmitcard accordingly.The dulycompleteddownloadedadmitcardwith photographaffixed(dulyattested)inthespaceprovidedwillhaveto beproducedattheallottedtestcentre.CandidateswithouttheadmitcardorcardwithoutthephotographwillNOTbepermittedto takethetest.
