UPC RewindDrive-In Movie: Inception

Over 500 students drove out to “The Beach” to watch the movie Inception on November 2. Students had the option of watching the movie from their cars or sitting in front of the screen. Students were fed popcorn to really complete the drive-in movie atmosphere.

Tiger Nights: Fiesta on the PlainsUPC put on yet another successfull Tiger Nights on Oct. 22. The semi-annual event featured country band Diamond Rio in the AUSC Ballroom. More than 5,000 students came to enjoy the free food, inflatables, games and live entertainment. It was a great start to get everyone pumped up for the Auburn Tigers to play LSU the next day.

Italian Cooking Workshop

The Italian Cooking Work-shop was a great success. Students cooked a variety pastas, pizza appetizers, salads and bread. The food was delicious and everyone left with full stomachs.

On Thursday, Nov. 11 UPC will present the Last Comic Standing. Students will gather in the AUSC Ballroom at 7 p.m. ready to laugh and be enter-tained.

I am Laurel Kostakis and I am the Treasurer for the University Program Council. I can’t believe how fast this semester is going by and how many great events have been held. UPC has had something for everyone from Arts and Crafts Day to the Halloween Double Feature Movie to TigerNights Fiesta on the Plains! But, UPC isn’t finished with all of our Fall events just yet.
