ALL-WHEEL CONTROL (AWC)

One touch of a button and the RVR helps you

handle any driving conditions that come your way.

You select your desired driving mode and the RVR’s

Electronically Controlled All-Wheel Control (AWC)

does the rest. Drive in 2WD mode for everyday dry

pavement conditions with optimal fuel economy,

4WD AUTO mode when conditions become wet and

slippery, or easily switch on the fly to 4WD Lock for

loose surfaces. Leaving the setting in 4WD AUTO

allows the RVR to take charge and lets the system

automatically choose between 2WD and 4WD for

you. Full control and a safe driving experience, all

at the touch of a button.

STANDARD TRACTION AND BRAKING SYSTEMS

When faced with slippery road conditions or

emergency braking, the RVR’s traction and braking

systems will help keep you in control. Active Stability

Control (ASC) and Traction Control Logic (TCL) work to

maintain traction between the front/rear and left/right

wheels. These systems work along with an Anti-lock

Braking System (ABS) that keeps individual wheels

from locking up during hard braking, while Electronic

Brake-Force Distribution (EBD) adjusts braking force

between the front and rear wheels.

BLUETOOTH® 2.0 HANDS-FREE CELLULAR PHONE INTERFACE WITH STREAMING AUDIO AND USB INPUT

The RVR’s integrated Bluetooth® 2.0 hands-free cellular phone interface is designed to keep

For 2015, RVR features a new-generation

CVT available on certain trims. Already one

of the most efficient transmissions available,

the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)

operates on a pulley system, allowing infinite

variability between the highest and lowest

ratios. Instead of shifting gears, it adapts

to changing vehicle speeds and helps keep

the engine operating efficiently. This new

generation ensures even greater efficiency,

responsiveness and smoothness.

REARVIEW CAMERA‡

With the available rearview camera, your

visibility when reversing no longer needs to be

compromised. The camera’s wide-angle view

of the area behind the vehicle displays it as an

image on a screen on your dashboard, thus

making reversing safer and easier.

ONE-TOUCH START/STOP KEYLESS IGNITION

The One-Touch Start/Stop Engine Switch lets

you activate the ignition with the press of a

button that’s located near the centre of the

dash panel. With the brake depressed and the

CVT shifter in Park position, you’ll be quickly

on your way. Once you’ve arrived, one more

push shuts off the vehicle.
