Themes of the Workshop:

Initially six thematic areas
• Assistive Technology
• Functioning, Disability & Rehabilitation
• Health Promotion & Prevention
• Physical Planning
• Physical, Psychological and Social Aspects of Person-Environment Relations
• Predictors of Ageing & Disability
Now focus on three thematic areas: • Social and psychological perspectives• Functioning, disability and health
perspectives• Technical and planning perspectives
Target Environments• Physical Dimensions• Social Dimensions• Cultural Dimensions
Aims of the Workshop
With the interdisciplinary focus in mind deepen the knowledge on:
• theories within the areas introduced• methods used• the connection between the theories
and the methods• how to apply to own research (if
possible)• how to apply to research on transition
points (if possible)
