Welcome
On behalf of the Board of Directors and the management team of Minority Supplier
Development UK (MSDUK), I would like to welcome and introduce the UK Business
Delegation of certified Ethnic Minority Businesses visiting the 2013 NMSDC Annual
Conference in San Antonio.
Established in 2006, MSDUK is proud to be part of NMSDC’s Global-Link network of
affiliates and continue to work with global and British corporations in making supply chain
diversity and inclusion part of their everyday business. In today’s interconnected world of
business and commerce, minority businesses have even greater opportunities to grow
faster and become global business leaders. MSDUK over the last seven years has become
central to the growth and success of ethnic minority businesses in the UK, connecting them
to a comprehensive supply chain ecosystem, supporting them in their business and
personal development through educational and mentoring programmes, and promoting
B2B collaboration both nationally and internationally.
Through our outreach events, including industry specific meet the buyer events, annual
supplier diversity days, a bi-annual conference and awards dinner and a series of B2B
events and best practice seminars, MSDUK provides both corporate organisations and
EMBs huge opportunities to meet, network, learn and develop long-lasting business
relationships.
For the first time, we are bringing a group of seven highly successful and aspiring ethnic
minority businesses to the NMSDC conference. They all aspire to expand their business
globally and are looking to partners and clients not only in the US but across NMSDC’s
global link affiliated countries like Canada, South Africa, China and Australia. We present
their business profiles and their schedule in San Antonio with the hope you will either meet
them or connect them to your business associates, Tier1 suppliers or MBEs.

Canary Wharf & City is looking to expand on their positive successes through membership of the UK equivalent NMSDC organisation MSDUK. We are interested in identifying new corporate clients who we could provide European / US staffing support for. In addition we are interested in forming partnerships with US based staffing firms, so that we can meet the needs of our European based clients (who may have a demand for US resource).
We would also be interested in talking with US based staffing firms keen on leveraging our location to meet their clients’ European needs.
