QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of visual and user interface design in a

corporate or agency context (graphics, layout,

prototyping and information architecture).

• Strong portfolio, including depth of experience in

responsive design in an agile framework.

• Experience creating wire-frames, storyboards, user

flows, process flows and site maps.

• Strong proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision or

other visual design and wire-framing tools.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid

prototyping.

• Excellent visual design and on-page optimization skills

with sensitivity to user-system interaction.

A DAY IN THE LIFE• Conceptualizing interfaces for websites, landing pages,

user dashboards, and digital campaigns.

• Executing all visual designs from concept to final hand-

off, while ensuring evergreen quality.

• Creation and presentation of wire-frames, storyboards,

user flows, and persona-based customer journeys.

• Establishing, promoting and enforcing design guidelines,

UI best practices and standards.

THE OPPORTUNITYThis role is an opportunity to lead all UI and graphic

design efforts at OUTDOORsmart!. You’ll work closely

with digital platform and marketing teams to test and

generate insights that fuel optimization while designing

awesome customer experiences that convert. You’ll

champion UI/UX and leverage wirefames, conceptual

models, process flows, navigational maps, mockups, and

prototypes to communicate your ideas. You’ll lead the

creation, implementation and quality assurance of the

OUTDOORsmart! brand UI/UX style guides, and you’ll be

called upon to champion both the quality and positioning

of our online brands. OUTDOORsmart! is a lean, fast-
