HOW IT WORKSThe Type D Ori�ce Plate with its drilled ori�ce pattern isinstalled after the pressure regulating valve to smooth outturbulence caused by the pressure drop across the regulator.Noise reduction levels of 10 dBA can typically be achieved.

INSTALLATIONThe Type D Ori�ce Plate is installed between ANSI �angesimmediately after the regulator. If the regulator is a �anged unit,the ori�ce plate is placed at the �ange outlet connection. Max. Temp.450˚F @ 300 PSIG

HOW IT WORKSThe Series-TH Acoustic Silencer incorporates a Dual Diffusertube design. The inner tube has a drilled ori�ce pattern andthe outer tube contains an integral layer of sound absorbinginsulation. Noise reduction levels of 20-30 dBA can typicallybe achieved.

INSTALLATIONThe Series-TH Diffuser Tube should be installed immediatelydownstream of the regulator, as shown below.
