Highlights Career Leader Assessment I found it very interesting to review my Career LeaderAssessment because of how well it coincided with my Me in 30 Seconds statement. It mentioned how I would do well in working with othersand in my statement I mentioned how I liked doing that. Making a difference was also something that both thingshad in common. I mentioned that I like working with others to make a difference and that was one of my biggest motivators in the assessment 4. Highlights 3 Substantial Accomplishments Serving a full-time service mission Attending college to earn a degree in businessmanagement Being a secretary for 8 months while service afull-time service mission 5. I find these three things as substantialbecause a full 2 year mission was the hardestwork that I have every done. It was more thana 9-5 job but it was an all day effort to helpothers.Attending college is one of the greatest thingsthat I have done because I am the first in myfamily to do so. It has helped me tounderstand myself better and that Im smartingthan I give myself credit.Being a secretary helped me become betterorganized and taught me responsibility. Manywere dependent on my dedication and work. 6. HighlightsArticlesI loved reading the articles that were chosenfor us to read and especially enjoyed reading, Whole Soul as an Offering by Elder Bednar.The way he encourages us to not take the path of least resistance inspired me to takeclasses to increase my knowledge and not just to pass the class. It was great to hear the prophesies and promised blessing from Pres. Eyring and also the importance of knowing who you are. 7. Highlights Resume I feared having to do the resume for thisassignment because I didnt have any realbusiness experience but it was rally nice to goto the resume review and learn from the tutor the ins and outs to having a good resume. Ilearned that it isnt always your work experience that is important, but it is the way you present it. 8. HighlightsI enjoyed creating my LinkedIn profile and the ability to search for connections with people I know. I havent had a lot of experience with ityet but I can see how it can be a great tool for those in the business world. I was able toconnect with people both foreign and domestic. It is an amazing tool and I look forward to the opportunities it will bring me inmy career
