    Mise-en-scene is all the elements placed in front of the

    camera to be photographed: the settings and props,

    lighting, costumes and make-up, and figure behaviour

    Cinematic shots are defined by theamount of subject matter within the

    frame Shots can vary in duration

    Shots vary in time from subliminal (afew frames) to quick (less than a

    second) to average (more than asecond but less than a minute) tolengthy (more than a minute)

    Fill light defined:Fill is used to lighten shadows and control contrast ratios

    (the ratio of amount of Key to Fill light). Combined with the Key light,

    Fill light helps define the mood by lighting the shaded areas in a range

    of intensities. It can vary from none, to a level equaling the Key light
