Officiant and People Praise to the holy and undivided Trinity, one God: as it was in the beginning, is now and will be forever. Amen. Alleluia!

PSALM 130

Out of the depths have I called to you; O God, hear my voice; * let your ears consider well the voice of my supplication.

If you were to note what is done amiss, * O God, who could stand?

For there is forgiveness with you, * therefore you shall be feared.

I wait for you, O God; my soul waits for you; * in your word is my hope.

My soul waits for you, more than sentries for the morning, * more than sentries for the morning.

O Israel, wait upon God, * for with God there is mercy.

With God there is plenteous redemption; * God shall redeem Israel from all their sins.

PSALM 116:10-17

How shall I repay God * for all the good things done for me?

I will lift up the cup of salvation * and call upon the Name of God.

I will fulfill my vows to God * in the presence of all people.

Precious in your sight, O God, * is the death of your servants.

O God, I am your servant; * I am your servant and the child of your handmaid; you have freed me from my bonds.

I will offer you the sacrifice of thanksgiving * and call upon your holy Name.

I will fulfill my vows to you * in the presence of all your people,

In the courts of God’s house, * in the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Alleluia!

Praise to the holy and undivided Trinity, one God: as it was in the beginning, is now and will be forever. Amen. Alleluia!

A READING FROM SCRIPTURE ISAIAH 25:6-9

On this mountain the Lord of hosts will make for all peoples a feast of rich food, a feast of well-matured wines, of rich food filled with marrow, of well-matured wines strained clear. And he will destroy on this mountain the shroud that is cast over all peoples, the sheet that is spread over all nations; he will swallow up death for ever. Then the Lord God will wipe away the tears from all faces, and the disgrace of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken. It will be said on that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, so that he might save us. This is the Lord for whom we have waited; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

All Thanks be to God.

Then follows V. Into your hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit; R. For you have redeemed me, O Lord, O God of truth. V. Keep us, O Lord, as the apple of your eye; R. Hide us under the shadow of your wings.

Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy.

Lord, hear our prayer And let our cry come unto you Let us pray

Our Mother and Father, who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

Our Mother and Father in heaven, hallowed be your Name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial, and deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and for ever. Amen.

Look down, O Lord, from your heavenly throne, and illumine this night with your celestial brightness; that by night as by day your people may glorify your holy Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Visit this place, O Lord, and drive far from it all snares of the enemy; let your holy angels dwell with us to preserve us in peace; and let your blessing be upon us always; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Eternal Lord God, you hold all souls in life: Give to your whole Church in paradise and on earth your light and your peace; and grant that we, following the good examples of those who have served you here and are now at rest, may at the last enter with them into your unending joy; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Keep watch, dear Lord, with those who work, or watch, or weep this night, and give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend the sick, Lord Christ; give rest to the weary, bless the dying, soothe the suffering, pity the afflicted, shield the joyous; and all for your love's sake. Amen. Silence is kept, and free intercessions and thanksgivings are offered.
