In appreciation of our volunteers in conjunction with the Feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Help we invite you to join us for Mass on Wednesday June 27, 7:00 pm at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Following the Mass we

will be having a wine and cheese social to show our appreciation to our volunteers who help the church run throughout the year.

Some of our Volunteers

Sacristans, Altar Servers, Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Gift Bearers, Choirs, Snow Clearers, Catholic Women’s League, Knights of Columbus, Breakfast Crew, Youth Ministry, Lawn Care and Gardeners.

Please call the office by the end of day on Monday June 25 if you are planning on attending. We want to make sure we are prepared.

Volunteers are the life blood of our church. In fact the church literally would not exist without you. We want to thank you for everything you do. No matter what ministry you are involved with, what you do is important to your church.

Looking for Singers for a Choir!

There will be a Gospel Concert in the Peace Park on Tuesday July 10 at 7pm. We are looking for interested people to sing for this Concert. We would be looking at singing two songs that would be easy to learn. We have time for three practices before the concert. There will be a practice on Monday June 25 at 7pm for anyone who would like to participate. It’s a fun evening and a chance to share our voices with the community.

On Thursday, June 28th, 7 p.m. there will be a general information meeting for parents who may be enrolling their child (grade 7 and up) in the first year of the Basilica’s Confirmation program for September. The main reason for this meeting is to allow the parents to give input and have a say on when classes will be held and what format will best suit their busy family schedules. The meeting will take place downstairs so please use the basement entrance

held in the Basilica during July and August

for the Summer. Mass will resume in

Wabush in September.
