KEVIN CHAPMANUK Head of Offices, Lend Lease

Kevin’s role includes the delivery and promotion of the 4 million sq ft of new office space at The International Quarter, Stratford. Previous roles include UK Managing Director of Garbe Real Estate and UK Property Director for CLS Holdings Plc where Kevin was active in the conception of the Shard and London Bridge Place. Kevin also represented landlord and tenant clients at Nelson Bakewell where he led their City of London office. Kevin is a member of the RICS, holds a BSc degree in Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University and is an active member of the BCO and CORENET.

JAMES GOLDSMITHLeasing Director, Real Estate Management

As a Director at Deloitte Real Estate and Jones Lang LaSalle, James was responsible for Central London Development and executed many high-profile transactions specialising in agency, development, funding, investment and asset management. James currently directs the leasing for Real Estate Management (REM) UK, a joint venture between The State of Qatar, Qatar National Bank and the Sellar family. Providing asset management service across prime commercial, residential, retail and leisure real estate assets throughout London, REM UK’s portfolio includes The Shard and The News building at London Bridge and Park House in North Mayfair.

DAN BAYLEY Executive Director – Central London Offices, BNP Paribas Real Estate

Dan is a senior director in our Central London Office agency team and also provides support to BNP Paribas Real Estate’s offices group. Dan has over 20 years’ experience providing development and leasing advice to landowners, funds, developers and occupiers in Central London. Whilst most of his career has been based in the City, his responsibility for the Central London team has developed a wider view of markets across London, whether working with occupiers or owners. He has worked at BNP Paribas Real Estate since graduating in 1991 and leads the offices sector group. He is a member of the British Council for Offices.

HELEN BERRESFORD Head of Interior Design, Sheppard Robson

Helen is a recognised industry leader and through her creative leadership ID:SR has developed an activity-driven design approach which puts people at the heart of the design process. Working with a range of occupiers - including Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Coutts, and Taylor Wessing, and recently the BBC and Channel 4 - she is helping to overturn the traditional concept of the office environment.

CHRIS BRANDON Managing Principal, Pringle Brandon Perkins + Will

Chris studied architecture at the University of Bristol and began his career at Powell Moya. He went on to become a partner of Michaelis Brandon Architects and Solar Energy Developments, where he was involved in innovative, low-energy projects such as the JEL HQ in Stockport and experimental solar heated housing in Milton Keynes. Since co-founding Pringle Brandon in 1986 (now Pringle Brandon Perkins+Will), Chris has led major relocation and fit out projects for clients such as Siemens, Microsoft, Mary Rose, Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, Linklaters, Dresdner Kleinwort, Reuters and L’Oreal.

NICK SEARL Partner, Argent

Having joined in January 2008, Nick is a Partner of Argent LLP. His main priority is leading the commercial teams at King’s Cross who deal with the definition, strategy, leasing and management of the office and retail components. He is also closely involved with the wider branding and promotion of King’s Cross. At a corporate level, Nick is involved in securing new development opportunities for Argent and is jointly responsible for marketing and promoting the business. Before joining Argent, Nick worked with Chelsfield and European Land at Paddington Basin where he delivered The Point and Waterside buildings for M&S and Orange respectively and was also the development manager obtaining planning permission for the 1.8 million sq ft Merchant Square development.

CHARLIE GREENCEO, The Office Group

Charlie founded The Office Group (TOG) with Olly Olsen in 2003. Previously he worked as a Chartered Surveyor and for MWB Group on development work in the serviced office sector. TOG grew from the desire to challenge the serviced office industry, to make it a transparent, flexible and brilliantly designed workspace option instead of a temporary solution. TOG’s buildings are designed in response to the ever-changing attitudes towards how we work.

NICOLA GILLENDirector, AECOM

Nicola is the European Practice Lead for Strategy Plus at AECOM. She also leads the Pharmaceutical, Technology, FMCG and Learning Sectors for Strategy Plus in the UK. Strategy services include; Strategic Briefing, Workplace Strategy, Research, Concept Design and Change Management. Nicola joined AECOM (legacy DEGW) in 1998 as a strategic consultant. Now based in London, Nicola has also worked in the New York office of DEGW. Recent publications she has authored/co-authored include Technology, Media and Communications, written for the BCO, and Productivity: A Homemade Recipe?, a white paper published by AECOM.

PETER MURRAYChairman, NLA

Peter trained as an architect and was editor of Building Design and RIBA Journal before starting Blueprint Magazine in 1983. He has curated a number of major architectural exhibitions and is Chairman of the communications consultancy Wordsearch. He is founder of both NLA and the London Festival of Architecture and is author of various architectural books including “The Saga of Sydney Opera House” and “A Passion to Build”. He is a Visiting Professor at IE University in Madrid and Hon. Sec. of the Bedford Park Society.

DAVID SHAW OBEHead of Regent Street Portfolio, The Crown Estate

David joined The Crown Estate in 2002 and is Head of the £3.4 billion Regent Street Portfolio. Since 2002 David has led the team responsible for the wholesale transformation of the 4m sq ft portfolio. He was instrumental in forming the Regent Street partnership with Norges Bank Investment Management in 2011.David’s other roles include: non-executive director of the Pollen Estate; founding director of the New West End Company; founding director of Orpheus Foundation which supports young musicians; formerly management board director of retailer the Burton Group. David was awarded an OBE in the 2014 New Years Honours list for services to the Retail Industry and Voluntary Service.

PHILIP TIDDPrincipal, Gensler

Philip is one of the global Leaders for Gensler’s Consulting Practice, focusing on global client accounts and on the EMEA region. A Gensler Principal, Philip has over 20 years of experience in workplace consultancy, real estate advisory and design and urban strategy services. His career includes over 18 years working across mainland Europe helping global organisations implement workplace programs attuned to the region’s many cultural and legislative variations. He has also advised numerous European public sector organizations on ways in which enhanced work environments can lead to improved performance.

Matt is a founding partner of award-winning architecture and design practice BuckleyGrayYeoman, established in 1997. Matt has been responsible for delivering many of the practice’s key projects for commercial sector clients, which include Derwent London, Stanhope, British Land, Blackstone, London & Regional, F&C, Prupim, Prestbury, RBS and Exemplar. Matt’s constant drive is to achieve a Complex Simplicity in design; believing that even the most difficult design constraints can be overcome with clear simple thought, to achieve elegant design solutions, which are practical and cost effective.

JASON STUBBS Head of Interiors, UK & Ireland, AECOM

Jason’s 15 year career has spanned across a mix of market sectors which include Residential, Health Care but notably Commercial Office Interiors. The majority of his work is international and he is actively involved in all aspects of design from briefing through to construction delivery. Jason has extensive experience on large scale new build projects where he specialises in building analysis for developers and end users of commercial office buildings.

PHILIP TURNER Associate Director, AHMM

Philip has worked on a wide variety of projects including the Johnson Building, the Tea Building and Union Square. He was promoted to Associate Director in 2008 and currently manages a range of high profile projects across different sectors. Following development of the Residential Masterplan for the 2012 Athletes’ Village, Philip and his team completed the acclaimed Chobham Academy, an all-ages school at the edge of the Olympic Park. Other projects include a significant new retail building on Oxford Street, two projects for The Crown Estate as part of their regeneration of Regent Street, and the BCO Award-winning Incubator Building in Alconbury.
