church narthex. Take one home for you or give one to a friend!

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT MONEY? Just because this topic makes us

squirm doesn’t mean we shouldn’t face it and wrestle with if head on. Check out the

August issue of the Lutheran Witness magazine in the church entry information kiosk.

You’ll read a range of articles on generosity and money management, panhandling,

downsizing, stewardship, daily bread and more. Only limited copies available, so pick one

up today – read, and share with a friend.

TRINITY PRESCHOOL is underway in our 30th year of mission & ministry. This year

we are connecting 31 families, (25 three-year-olds and 5 pre-kindergartners). With no

congregational funds budgeted for preschool, we value and need your prayers and

financial support through special offerings, Adopt-a-Student, Thrivent Choice dollars, and

fund raisers. ADOPT-A-PRESCHOOLER - Please help four current preschool families

who qualify for tuition assistance by providing all or a portion of the monthly tuition ($75

for 3 yr. olds / $85 for pre-k). Please contact DCE Gary Bach for more details!

THRIVENT CHOICE DOLLARS may be easily designated by Thrivent members to Trinity

Lutheran Preschool. Here’s how!

1 – Visit www.Thrivent.com/choice dollars to begin or call 1-800-847-4836.

2 – Review and select the organizations you want to help fund.

3 – Choose where you’d like to direct your Choice Dollars.

boxes will be available for pickup starting on Rally Sunday. There is a tub to collect

individual items of new toys, clothing, hygiene items and school supplies that can be put

into boxes, but as of last week there have been no donations in the box this year. Please

note that NO CANDY OR TOOTHPASTE can be put in boxes in 2018. Your cash

donations are also welcomed and may be put in your designated offering envelopes with

OCC on the front. Women’s Ministry would like to thank everyone who supports this

mission!
