Our Church CommunityWe give thanks for the life of Mary Barnes, Trinity member and wife of the late Rev. Jim Barnes, who entered eternal rest on June 26. We remember in prayer her nephew Tim Morris, also a Trinity member. A memorial service will be held at Trinity on July 14; details forthcoming.

Help Prepare a Child For School Success | Today–July 14 | Contact: Deb MeyerWe’re participating with churches and community groups across Metro Denver in the Fill a Backpack drive through A Precious Child to provide schools supplies to area children living below Colorado’s self-sufficiency standard. Organ Concerts | July 7 & 10 Trinity is pleased to be hosting the American Guild of Organists Southwest Regional Conference. There will be two organ concerts open to the public with free admission. The first is Sunday, July 7 at 8:00pm, featuring John Schwandt from the University of Oklahoma, and the second is Wednesday, July 10 at 9:15am, featuring Trinity’s own Bryan Dunnewald.

Parking Access: Wonder Woman Race | July 14We love that our city is thriving, and we just learned that a new foot race is coming to downtown Denver in celebration of all the wonder women in our lives! If you drive, please be sure to allow extra time getting to Trinity on the morning of July 14. Please pick up a flyer today for displaying race day on your car dashboard – doing so enables our partners, Denver Police Department, along with Trinity’s Parking Greeter Team to provide access to our parking, even opening lanes for traffic flow. How to Care Series with Rev. Lee Anderson-Harris | July 27People often wish to be supportive of friends and acquaintances who are going through a difficult time, but hesitate because they aren’t sure what to say or do to show they care. The second class of this series, “Grief and Loss” will meet from 9:30–11:30am at Trinity in Room 109. This class discusses supporting people who have experienced a death or other major loss. Want to learn more about how to show support to fellow group members during a difficult time? If you have an extra Bible or see one at a garage sale, we would appreciate the donation and so would those in need! Trinity’s Little Free Library is also in need of gently used children’s books, any topic, for our youngest readers. Drop books off at the office any time–and stop by the Little Free Library–it’s located on Level 2 near the Angel Window Quilt–there are lots of great titles to choose from for all ages!

Military Ministry: Calling all VeteransTrinity’s Military Ministry is gathering stories and pictures of Trinity’s Veterans to be printed in a booklet to “Honor and Recognize” our Veterans. Nursery & Toddlers Childcare for newborns through 3 years is available from 8:00am–12:00pm on Sundays. We understand that dropping off a young child may be difficult, and some children are more accustomed than others. Please let us know your concerns. It is our goal to make this as easy as possible for you and your child. We will partner with you to ensure both you and your child are comfortable.

Children’s Summer Sunday School | 9:30 & 11:00amToddlers–3 years: Orange Room, PreK–5th Grade: Purple RoomChildren will be learning from Cokesbury’s Deep Blue Summer curriculum this summer, with a new topic and memory verse each month.

• June’s Topic: Church Family, “An abundance of grace was at work among them all.” –Acts 4:33

• July’s Topic: Families of the Old Testament, “I will make your name respected, and you will be a blessing.” –Genesis 12:2

Youth Sunday School | 9:30amMiddle School (6th-8th) and High School (9th-12th): Youth Room (116-117)Sunday mornings in the Youth Room are a welcoming place to join with youth your own age to ask questions, discover how truly amazing God is, receive encouragement to be yourself and grow in your faith. Every Sunday we take time to check in with one another, share what we are grateful for in our gratitude practice and dig deeper in our faith and our questions as we grow closer to God and one another.

Youth GroupMiddle School (6th-8th) and High School (9th-12th)Senior High Sunday Nights (SHSN) is for 9th–12th grade youth. We meet the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month for group building, deepening our spiritual journey, real discussions and dinner together. 2nd Sundays is for 6th-8th grade youth. We meet the second Sunday of each month from 10:45am–Noon in the Youth Room (116-117).

Youth group does not meet during May–August. Watch for summer events coming up!

Family Guide

Trinity’s Children and Youth Ministries offer Sunday School at 9:30am and a second time for children at 11:00am. Children and youth are welcome to sit with their families in worship. Parents, please check-in and drop off children at the Children’s Area Desk (Level 2) for Sunday School. Following worship, parents may pick up their children directly from the Sunday School room.
