Greetings from St. George!

I don’t even know where to begin, so many thingshave happened over the summer. As many of youknow we had two major harvests this summer. One was just before the Kaposvár conference, the other a  week after and lasted till mid August. A lot of teams, brothers and sisters visited our young church and got encouraged under the vision, taking advantage of thegod weather and the KETA break. We tried our best

to take care of their accommodation and tried toinvolve them in the missions work.

The Szeged youth group was with us first, whotestified about amazing maturity and eagerness.Polina and Mariann helped us for more than two weeks, and then we closed the first part of our harvest   with the Kaposvar-Andocs team. P Fodor Janos,Tocsa and Arpi from Szeged really helped me withsome decisions that needed to be taken. By mid

summer it became obvious, that this apparently great place isn’t the best for our ministry and God wants togive us something better. One of the reasons to moveis that more and more children are visiting us, and wedo not have a room for them. Another reason is thelack of heating and space. We already have the new location, and we’ll have to be there starting onSeptember 1st . Right now it is in ruins, but we are

trying with all our power to make it usable. It will beawesome! It is an old house of culture, and we canmake rooms in it according to our needs. Our plan isto make two girl’s dorms for 4 and an area for guys. A room for kids activities and a 90m2 room for theservices.

We were praysing the Lord in the open air in the gypsy settlement

After the Kaposvár conference I had a great time in

Hungary, while with the leading of Pelc Pityu the first team arrived and started serving. Enik ő and Anetta

spent three weeks here. The big “catch’” was theDoulos band, who came with the Rákoskeresztúrchurch. WE are very grateful to P. Péterfai János. They have served a great example, by coming over with the whole family. Even Risztics Frank and Diana came with their five children. They are real faithheroes and missionaries. The Doulos band with Pali,David, Toci and Bence gave an open air and anindoor concert. In the park a lot of people heard their

deep songs in the word. Grabbing the amazing opportunity we shared the gospel between the songs.

This busy part of the summer was ended by a teamfrom Budapest with P. Graham’s leading. The team(Angelika, Balázs, Alexander, Darinka, Pimpus, Anetta, Gabi...) was very flexible and enduring. By thistime the team house wasn’t really functioning due tothe wrong pipe sistem, but the Lord provided thesolution. We could use the Marton family’s house while they were away. Thank God for Irma and Laci

for standing by our side.

As you can see in the pictures, the summer opened a  way to the gipsy settlement due to the nice weatherconditions and ready to serve teams. They have a great openness and hunger for the gospel. The gypsiesare very God fearing, but need teaching as they havereceived a lot of bad teaching. Their misery is

indescribable and as we are there we can really see thereality of Jesus’ words. The Sermon on the Mount talks about people like them. People who have noalternative in this life. They really understand andneed God’s comforting. So we are there on a weekly basis, and Laci and my plan is to go to the houses where they happily receive us and we try to teachthem.

The church is well and growing in God’s grace. What  we teach them and all the Hungarian teams showed is

a life in the Body of Christ with the Bible as center. WE are here because this mystery was once revealedto us as well. Through each other God draws us, andeven in this evil world there can be growth and we canlive in peace with God.

In the middle of August we were at the Romaniansummer camp (Conference). Just from Saint Georgethere were 15 of us there! Is it not amazing? Thesepeople didn’t even dream of this a year ago. P. Jonand Margetta came to visit us in St. George. After the

camp we are concentrating on the new building renewal and the beginning of Bible College inSeptember.

We are waiting helpers, guys, who can help building, renewing the new place as well as financial support forbuilding materials. It is exciting for me and Ani to seehow God moves missionaries from Budapest andother countryside churches to join our vision thisautumn.

For me personally it is a great joy to have a few guys inthe church with whom I’d like to make friends inChrist. They are already Christians, but very  hungry for grace and missions.

Ani, Laci, Irma, Józsi and Ildikó, Éva, Melinda,István, Ivan and Borbala, Olgi, Imola, Kincső and the

others send their greetings to you all.

Thank you for your prayers, visits and support.
