No reservations are necessary. Follow the signs for Ground Transportation or Taxi to the lower level of the main terminal where a customer service representative will be available 24 hours a day. Cost: approximate cost to downtown Washington, D.C. $57.00 - $61.00. Traditionally, gratuity is between 15 to 20% of the cab fare. Contact information: 703-572-8294 or visit http://www.washfly.com/.

BUS

Tickets for the Flyer Coach can be purchased at the ticket counter located inside the vestibule of Door 4 on the Arrivals Level of the Main Terminal. Follow the signs marked “Dulles Airport Shuttle”. There is a Washington Flyer Curbside Service Representative at all times to assist you. Cost: Coach Service will take you non-stop to Metro's West Falls Church Station for $10 one-way. SUPER SHUTTLE

Super Shuttle is a private airport shuttle service to and from DCA airport. The shuttle stops are located outside of baggage claim area. Reservations for Super Shuttle are highly recommended. Cost: The cost of the shuttle depends on your destination. A trip to the Carey Business School would cost about $31.00. SUPREME SHUTTLE

Supreme Airport Shuttle Super is a private airport shuttle service to and from DCA airport. Upon arrival, international arrivals should proceed to Door #1 near the baggage claim; domestic arrivals should proceed to Door #5 near the ground transportation area. Cost: The shuttle costs $29.00 for the first person to travel to downtown Washington, D.C., and another $10.00 for each additional person. RENTAL CAR

Reservations are highly recommended.

METRO

Metrorail is a rapid-transit system, providing access to Downtown D.C. Take the metrobus to Wiehle-Reston East Metrorail station on the silver line or the West Falls Church Station on the Orange line (see schedule).Direct transportation to these stations is also available from the Washington Flyer Coach Service. Purchase a Metrorail fare card inside the train station. The Metro system refers to its fare card as “SmarTrip”. SmarTrip is a permanent rechargeable card that you can use to pay for Metro and bus fares. The SmarTrip card contains a computer chip that tracks the value of the card. To pay for your fare, touch the card to a circular “target” on top of a station turnstyle or on top of the farebox in a bus. Trains bound for "New Carrollton" will take you towards Downtown Washington, D.C. Costs: The cost for using the Metro system fluctuates depending upon your final destination and time of travel. Travel to DuPont Circle station (located near the Carey Business School), the peak fare would be $4.05. TAXI

Taxis are dispatched from convenient locations on the arrivals curb just outside the baggage claim areas of each terminal. No advance reservations are required—service is on a first-come, first-served basis. The approximate cost of a trip to the Carey Business School in Washington, D.C. is $20.00. Traditionally, gratuity is between 15 to 20% of the cab fare.
