Instructions for accessing Indian Road Congress (IRC) Codes in OpenRoads Designer

Following is the procedure to access the IRC codes.

Step 1: Download the zip file from the shared location and extract the content.

Step 2: Extract the content from the zip file run the Installer

Step 3: Complete the installation of the India Dataset.

Step 4: Start with OpenRoads Application and select Indian Standards.

Step 5: Now give the file a name and save it to the location.

Step 6: Once the file is saved we can start with importing the terrain file (.tin format) from the saved

location.

Step 7: After selecting the file, we need to select the Feature Definition to Existing Boundary

Step 8: Now select the geometry tab and select on the standards dropdown.

Step 9: Select Design Standard Toolbar

Step 10: Here you can find all the IRC Design Standards on the drop down.
