Transforming Learning Through ICT Project Plan 11 TH February 12:30pm – Meeting to Discuss the ICT presentation and what year, strand and topic we should do from the Australian Curriculum At the meeting: - Decide to focus on older Years – Year 6 - Science- Sudden geological changes or extreme weather conditions can affect Earth’s surface (ACSSU096) - IMovie is our chosen ICT - Reuel will be in charge of making the website- layout, overall design and uploading onto Teachers page. - Kate will make prezi presentation, class hand outs and organise the distribution of iPads to the class 16 th February 2:30pm- Meeting to further discuss our presentation, update each other on our progress and think of more ideas to enhance our presentation At the meeting: - Kate and Reuel decide on the design of the Weebly Website - Kate shows Reuel prezi presentation as well as class handouts - Reuel has made an example of what the students needs to make (iMovie) on his ipad - Uploaded to Weebly Website - Both researched images on Britannica to pre-upload to the Weebly Website before the presentation - Both Kate and Reuel wrote up the lesson plan for our planned presentation - Kate emailed Jean to organize iPads and inquire about coming in to the classroom early to set up for presentation - Reuel to finish uploading everything to the website - Kate to finish the prezi presentation and make any changes to the lesson plan 23 rd February 4:30pm- Presentation - Kate and Reuel arrive 15 minutes early to class to make sure that each iPad is working (has enough storage, move iMovie to an place on the iPad that is easy to locate, enough battery)

23rd February 4:30pm- Presentation

- Reuel to set-up computer ready for presentation

- Kate to ensure that all technology is working such as the prezi and the smart board.

- Distribute to students the hand out on Volcanoes that Kate put together

- Following the presentation, both Reuel and Kate to pack away iPads and make sure that

presentation area is clean.

6th March 7:00pm- Planning Stage Debrief

- Divide the Planning stages between both of us to ensure that our workloads are equal

- Discuss a time to meet for a meeting to continue our planning of the Website

8th March 2:30pm- Meeting

- Reuel and Kate working on planning stage of Website.

- Kate writes up 2 of out the 4 lesson plans (1st lesson and 4th lesson)

- Kate locates 3rd lesson plan from the presentation activity for Reuel to upload to the Teachers Page on Weebly

- Both write out the joint statement expressing our understanding of what is required for

the ICT integration project.

- Reuel starts to plan the mind map which shows what we intend to do in our four lessons and how that relates to the Australian Curriculum

- Kate updates the project plan.

- Kate writes out a statement articulating the integration of the three ICT resources that

will be used in addition to the Internet.

- Reuel writes a statement indicating how our project is underpinned by an established learning theory.

13th March 1:30pm- Meeting

- Both meet again to update each other on our progress with our planning stage

- Kate sends through the two lesson plans to be uploaded to Weebly Teachers page by Reuel

- Reuel continues on with mind-map presentation

- Both agree to work on our allocated tasks over the weekend to ensure for completion by

Monday 16th March.

16TH March 1:30pm- Meeting

- Kate and Reuel to meet again briefly to make sure that we both have completed our allocated tasks to the best of our ability

- Reuel to upload the last of the documents onto the Teachers page on Weebly .

- Both Kate and Reuel to thoroughly check that we have included everything on our

teachers page that is expected of us in the planning stage.

- After uploading the last of the documents to the teacher’s page, both Kate and Reuel to discuss the publishing stage of the ICT integration project.

Reuel:

- Make sure that we have linkages with an established learning theory within the design

- Ensure that the Website is easy to access and navigate around Kate:

- Double check all the lesson plans to ensure for correct spelling and grammar, that our objectives are clear and measurable and we have incorporated a minimum of 3 ICT’s into our lesson plans

- Check that we have included everything on our Weebly Page from planning and

Publishing stage.
