1.0 About Us

MAWEA Industries Sdn Bhd is a wholly own subsidiary of IME Group of Companies, a

company more than 30 years old, being one of the leading CAD/CAM,CAE solution providers

in the country. MAWEA Industries was established since 1995 as a service provider in CNC

rebuilt and repairer, and later exploring into reverse engineering and model rebuilding.

In year 1998, MAWEA Industries signed up as IBM Business Partner, promoting the leading

Dassault Systemes‘s CAD/CAM/CAE solution: “CATIA” to the Malaysian automobile and

manufacturing industries. In the subsequent years, MAWEA brought in advanced Product

Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, i.e. DELMIA and SMARTEAM. In year 2004, MAWEA

Industries has become the FIRST and only ONE Education Partner of Dassault Systemes in

providing comprehensive Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) courses to the

manufacturing and education industries. MAWEA has more than 100 customers with more

than 200 CATIA systems being installed at commercial and educational industries.

Training Centre

MAWEA provides complete range of CAD/CAM/CAE and related

technical courses & training programs to the industries and

educational institutions.

The centre is fully equipped with high-end PC workstations, with

high-resolution LCD projectors, located at our headquarters in

Petaling Jaya (Selangor), Nusajaya (Johor) and Prai (Penang)

branch offices. All courses are conducted by CATIA Certified Professional

trainers and claimable for HRD Fund.

Mawea Industries Sdn Bhd is the only appointed Education Partner of Dassault Systemes

providing comprehensive training courses on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

solutions, as well as PEARSON VUE Authorized Test Center for professional certification

program, i.e. CATIA Certified Professional.

Training Schedules We organize our courses to meet the needs of our customers, and we will make every effort to accommodate their wishes. To schedule “by arrangement only” courses, please contact us and include the full course title, along with the dates you wish to attend classes. Including alternative dates are recommended. Location Courses are held at Mawea Training Centre or at the customer’s site by request. Custom courses can also be made available through our Services Group. Number of Participants The class can allocate up to 20 participants per session and handled by two trained instructors. Accommodations can be made for larger groups if necessary. Courses at the customer’s site are priced for five, with the option to add participants.

Course Instruction Fees The course participation fees are based on our price list from January 1, 2014. We reserve the right to make changes. Fees are determined by location (MAWEA or Customer) and duration (number of days). The course fees include instructional materials (under authorized Dassault Systemes Education Partners). Travel Expenses For courses held at the customer’s location, we will, in addition to the course fees, charge you for the travel and living expenses incurred by our instructors. Cancellations The cancellation deadline is two weeks before the start of the session. For cancellations received after this deadline and/or for participants who fail to appear, we will charge the full course fees. However, in the event of such a cancellation, you may send a replacement. Please submit all cancellations in writing. Participants Failing to Appear Those participants who fail to appear for a course, or who only attend it part time, are still obligated to pay the full course fees.
