The training center is designed to enhance customers’ technological understanding of ABB’s offerings in medium voltage product range. Skill-based training helps customers to be more effective and to stay abreast of scientific advancements. Training is a key medium to engage customers, with the specific goals of improving their capability, capacity, productivity and performance.

ClassroomThe classrooms include advanced projection systems with multiple screens, special cameras for product demonstration. Interactive tablet with stylus supports annotation to provide on-the-spot projection, and an intelligent audio/visual/lighting control system. The classrooms can accommodate up to 80 individuals at a time.

Demo roomABB believes there is no replacement for a practical learning experience. It has thus invested in development of a 5,800 sqft demo room for medium voltage power products with over 20 medium voltage products. Of these, 10 are operational models that are connected to a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) network. A switchyard has been erected to experience outdoor products in real terms.

Hands-on training roomA separate training room is dedicated to hands on training on circuit breakers. Providing customers with in-depth knowledge of constructional features of circuit breakers.

Course goalTo familiarize oneself with Air Insulated Switchgears – UniGear ZS1 or UniGear ZS2 or ZN1, including technical parameters, interlocks and operation.

Learning objectivesUpon completion trainees will:– Be conversant in fundamentals of switchgear design,

Our price is ex-works Nashik basis, service tax shall be at actual at the time of training course . However present rate of service tax is 12.36%.

2. Cancellation/ suspension of order:In case of cancellation/ suspension of order by purchaser, the supplier, shall be compensated to the extent of 20% of the order value in addition to the cost of any material or equipment already procured by us by the date of suspension/ cancellation of order

3. Force MajeureIf at any time during the continuance of this order, the performance, in whole or in part, of any obligation under this order shall be prevented or delayed at our/ our sub-suppliers works by any reason or occurrence of event of force majeure which may include but not limited to any war (whether declared or otherwise), hostility, acts of the public enemy, civil commotion, sabotage, fires, floods, explosives, earthquake, epidemics, quarantine restrictions, strikes, labor disputes, lockouts, compliance with regulations, orders or instructions of any central, state or municipal government or agencies thereof, inability to obtain material or sufficient electricity for full manufacturing operations, any acts of God, then provided notice of the happening of any such eventuality is given by us to purchaser within a reasonable period of time from the date of eventuality, the suitable extension of execution time shall be granted by Purchaser. Such period of suspension of order shall be extended to perform the contractual obligations without imposing any liability of liquidated damages

4. Limitation of Liability:Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the order or the contract documents, an aggregate liability of ABB under no event shall exceed aggregate of course fee and ABB shall not be liable for any special, indirect or consequential damages or losses such as but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of use, loss of production, loss of power, costs of capital, costs of replacement power or costs connected with the interruption of operation, third party claims etc.

5. Dispute Resolution Mechanism: In case of any dispute, both the parties shall try to resolve it amicably and if the same is not resolved within 30 days from the date of such reference, the dispute shall be referred to the sole arbitrator. Venue of arbitration shall be at Nashik or Vadodara and procedure shall be governed in accordance with Indian Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996. Nashik or Vadodara Courts shall have an exclusive jurisdiction for this contract.

6. Validity: The prices indicated are valid till 31st Dec. 2014
