COVID-19 & CR Programs

The Town of Chili takes the health and safety of your family very seriously. We also understand that

the summer months should be filled with fun and friends. In an effort to offer programs in a safe way,

Chili Recreation has implemented various protocols and screenings for before, during, and after any

program. All programs have undergone risk assessment, and alterations to ensure safety of

participants. Please read through the following before registering for any program, so you and your

family know what to expect.

Continue to follow state and local guidelines

If you are sick, do not come to the program

Use designated entrances and maintain 6-foot social distancing while

checking into your program

Parent and/or participant must wear mask before and after the program,

while interacting with the instructor/staff and other participants

Only registered program participants are allowed in the program area

Upon arrival, each parent/participant must complete a Health Screening,

and sanitize hands

The Town of Chili requires a waiver be signed on site prior to the program

beginning. We suggest a parent or guardian drop off on the first day of the

program in order to sign this waiver. If you have questions, contact Chili Rec

Equipment is not to be shared. Pay attention to required equipment to

bring from home when registering. Equipment must be sanitized after use

Throughout the program, participants must wash or sanitize hands as

needed

At the conclusion of the program, participants will be released in a

staggered process. Parents are not allowed into the program area

Additional guidelines may be added as needed or as required by authorities

Put those artistic skills to work! Many of our friends

and neighbors have been using chalk art to

brighten our lives during this tough time. Now your

family is invited to create something beautiful at a

Town of Chili Park! Check in with the Rec Staff

when you arrive and you will be directed to your

family’s square. We will create a beautiful walking

path for our community to enjoy as they stroll

through the park. Family name stakes and chalk

will be provided (feel free to bring your own for

more color variety). We’ll even seal the chalk so it

lasts longer!

Avid runner and Chili Recreation Advisory Committee Member Donald Bigelow wants you to join the Chili

Runners Club! Exercising with others increases your accountability and adds a social element for added

fun. We will maintain all state guidelines to keep you safe. Running routes will vary each time, so join the

Chili Running Club group on Facebook for location updates. You can also contact Chili Recreation a day

before for location info.
