DETAILED PROGRAM

Day 1 (Fri 20/03/2015) Visit Danang - Hoian (-L-)

Arriving Chan May dock at 8 am, departing at 7 pm

Upon arrival at Chan May cruise terminal, our guide and driver will welcome you, and take you to Danang City.

Journey through the wonderfully photogenic fishing village of Lang Co before passing over the Hai Van Pass (Pass of Ocean Clouds) and dropping down to Da Nang.

Visit Champa Museum, Mable stone village, then head to Hoi An, the only medieval city in Vietnam that’s still intact. Hoi An is an invaluable cultural and historical heritage site.

Visit Hoi An’s captivating Old Town, including the Fujian Sanctuary, dedicated to the patron goddess of fishermen and sailors, the Japanese bridge built in 1593, connecting the Chinese and Japanese quarters, and the Tan Ky house, one of the new jewels of the architecture of Hoi An, and the Ceramics Museum.

If time allows, stop to swim at My Khe Beach.

Transfer back to Chan May dock.

Arriving at 7:00 AM, returning at 8:00 PM

Upon arrival, meet with your guide and driver.

Depart for Cu Chi (60 km – over 1 hour). Explore the system of underground tunnels at Cu Chi that comprises more than 250 km of galleries, a striking testimony to the hardness of the Vietnam War, determination and ingenuity of army of Ho Chi Minh.

The tunnels were dug in the late 1940s by determined fighters but under-equipped to face the French forces, and with American artillery, bombers and chemical weapons. They spread throughout the region over 250 km of tunnels. The visit allows to better understand the scope of work and living conditions in the tunnel.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Begin exploring Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon.

Visit beautiful and renowned sites in the city, such as the old Colonial Quarter in the heart of the city, which boasts Gustave Eiffel’s graceful Central Post Office and the Notre-Dame Basilica. Meander along historic Catinat Street (now called Dong Khoi). Then, head to the Chinese area of Cho Lon. Visit Binh Tay market and Thien Hau Pagoda, also known as the Lady of the Sea.

Transfer back to cruise terminal and embark on your cruise ship for continuing your journey.

In case of cancellation of the trip, the customer must pay penalties that match:

- I) 5% of the total trip cost if cancellation reaches its Vietnamese Private Tours at least 45 days before the commencement of the voyage;

- Ii) 10% of the total trip cost if cancellation reaches its Vietnamese Private Tours within 45 days before the commencement of the voyage;

- If cancellation is made prior to payment of the deposit, an invoice is sent to the customer is required to pay penalties under the above conditions, also shown on the estimate accepted by the customer.
