Strong I.V. experience for drug monitoring including stability and compatibility of I.V admixtures.

Career Experience:

Axelacare/United Health Care, Rohnert Park, CA3/2015 3/2016 Participated as a clinical pharmacist providing home infusion I.V. therapies to patients. I.V. therapies included: Antibiotics, TPN, IVIG and pain management. Extensive experience evaluating laboratory data in making decisions on dosing adjustments.

Custom Care Pharmacy, Pleasanton, CA9/2014 3/2015 Hired as the pharmacist manager for the compounding laboratory. Very strong consultative role with patients with new prescriptions. Managed the entire pharmacy and staff.

Continuing Pharmaceutical Education, Redwood City, CA11/2013 8/2014 Formal studying to pass the California State CPJE exam and National NAPLEX exam. Passed both exams and became licensed as a Pharmacist in CA in 8/2014.

Kennebec Pharmacy and Home Care, Augusta, ME11/2011 10/2013 Home Infusion Pharmacist managing five pharmacy technicians. Conducted In-take and built relationships with discharge planners, social workers, nurses, doctors and hospital administration to build the business Provided home infusion services including: I.V. Alta Medical LLC, Hollis, NH5/2008 10/2011 As the Director of Sales, I successfully built an independent medical sales organization from the ground up. Contracted with various manufacturers to represent their products in the New England states. Hired talented independent medical sales representatives to sell our products and devices. Represented companies that had no area business and took sales to over $1M in 3 years.

Rite Aid Pharmacy, Rockland, ME5/2010 12/2010 Rite Aid acquired Goodnows Pharmacy, and I was offered a pharmacist position to join Rite Aid. Since the acquisition we grew the number of prescriptions filled from 1250 to 2300 per week. Retained the most talented pharmacy technicians from Goodnows to bring with me to Rite Aid.

Goodnows Pharmacy, Rockland, ME8/2009 5/2010 I was hired as the pharmacist/pharmacy manager, to manage the general operations of the pharmacy and was responsible for an 8 million dollar business and 14 employees. I built a cohesive team, with an open door policy for better communication, to increase productivity and efficiency. Implemented policies and procedures that streamlined the overall day to day operations of the pharmacy to fill and dispense on average 2500 prescriptions per week.

Estech Inc., San Ramon, CA4/2006 5/2008 I was hired as a territory manager responsible for selling a complete line of products and devices to cardiac surgeons in the New England territory. I trained cardiac surgeons to do minimally invasive heart valve surgery with new devices.

CryoLife Inc., Kennesaw, GA1/1999 4/2006 As a technical representative I provided cryopreserved human heart valves, veins and arteries to cardiac and vascular surgeons. I also launched a new surgical adhesive, BioGlue to surgeons.

Datascope Corporation, Fairfield, N.J.8/1987 1/1999 As a District Sales Manager, I was responsible for managing the northeast salespeople to achieve corporate goals and objectives in selling Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps and balloons. I was promoted to District Sales Manager in 1996, prior experience was as a territory manager.
