“To Our Sister”
We’re blessed to call you sister, we also call you friend. You’ve loved us unconditionally, and stood through thick and thin.
You’ve shared our joy and sorrows, our laughter and our tears. You’ve been our inspiration, as we grew up through the years.
When we were little children, We laughed and played together. Then growing up you stood by us, Through good and stormy weather.
There’s something God has given us, That’s more than family. He’s place a love for you, my sister, deep down in our heart.
Love your Sisters & Brothers

“In Our Hearts”
We though of you today, but that is nothing new
We thought about you yesterday, and days before that too.
We think of you in silence, we often speak your name.
Now all we have are memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake, with which we’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping, we have you in our hearts.
Love Your Children
Ms. Jessica Grenette Rucker “Pooh-Pooh”
Ms. Jessica Grenette Rucker “Pooh-Pooh” was born on July 14, 1977 to
the late Jesse James Rucker, Sr. and Mildred Virginia Maxwell Rucker. She
entered into eternal rest on March 17, 2020 at her Porter Drive Residence.
To have known Jessica was to know a sweet, loving and giving person.
“Pooh-Pooh” was a loving mother, sister, aunt, niece and friend. She pro-
vided for her family in ways we could only imagine. Jessica had a forgiving
heart of gold and never met a stranger and was any and every ones friend.
Jessica would always say and leave us with “I love you and see you later.”
Jessica graduated from Elbert County Comprehensive High School with
the class of 1996 on May 31st. She attended Athens Technical College and
received her degree in Criminal Justice.
She leaves to cherish her memory four children: Jerry Pope, Jr., Jerkiyus
Pope, Alathien Edmond, and Demetrius Sherrer; three sisters: Minister Renick
Robinson (Robert), Lisa Rucker, Carrie Ann Ardister (Brandon); five brothers:
Stephen Rucker (Nancy), Jesse James Rucker, Jr. (Stephanie), Jermaine Rucker,
Clinton Rucker, Tresvon Rucker and a step brother Quinton McIntosh; 15
beautiful nieces and seven handsome nephews whom she loved and cared for
deeply; and a host of aunts and uncles, that she leaves to love and remember
her.
